Would you call it kismet? Serendipity? I was just talking to a coworker about how I like to put peanut butter on the maple tree outside the kitchen at a certain angle so I could watch them lick the stuff off. I was remarking how cute skwerl tongues are..and then-I see this.

Always read through to the end of the sentence.
Because the beginning of the sentence “I was just talking to a coworker about how I like to put peanut butter on the maple tree outside the kitchen at a certain angle ” is rather weird.

I was talking to a squirrel this morning about how I like to put peanut butter on my coworkers….
And I was talking to some peanut butter this morning about how I like to put coworkers on my squirrel.
I was talking to a maple tree about how my coworkers put peanut butter on squirrels.
My coworkers actually uproot the maple trees and dip them into huge vats of squirrels. Then they carry the whole mess around until a squirrel bumps into it accidentally.
Jeez, even I didn’t know what that was.

Well, yeah, I did know that. That’s kind of why I thought of it.
Okay, nother skwerl story. On same said tree, a yellow bellied sapsucker (look it up, it’s a real bird) would peck tiny perfectly round holes to access the maple sap. Skwerls would come down afterward & lap the sap out of the holes.
So it was just a sticky tree in general.
SO, my co-workers were drilling holes in yellow-bellied sapsuckers . . .
“lap the sap out of the holes….”
*snerk*
So just the other day, me and the saplappers were drilling squirrels on the suckertrees . . .
The squirrel is adorable and this thread is hilariously goofy! And Lucy’s Mommeh said, “lap the sap.” Lap sap, lap sap, lap sap!!

I had a hairless rat that loved to give kisses. Her little tongue was so cute! She had to have a tumor removed from her abdomen and I was afriad that the would be all traumatized and scared. But I got her home and put her in her cage and she grabbed my finger and started licking me like she was thanking me for trying to help her!!! I miss her so much! RIP Sweet Bella.
