  1. puppy lumpkins says:

I didn’t even need the sound on to hear his teeny tiny “ehn, ehn, ehn” as he went gallumphing through the snow!

  2. Theresa says:

Tiny puppies in the snow, always good for a “Squeeeeee!”

  3. ffleur says:

Obvy a “learner” pup – cannot reverse, cannot make sharp turns.

  4. Andi in NC says:

So extra furry – thank goodness!!

  5. Theresa says:

BTW, Where the heck has Hon Glad been hiding himself for the past 2 weeks or so? Hey, Hon Glad! Whereya been? Are you making a drunken, underdressed nuisance and eyesore of yourself in Majorca or Crete or wone of those places where you Brits go to do just that?

    • skippymom says:

I think we need to send Leslie on a search and rescue mission.

      • O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

        *raises hand*

Reporting for duty, Sirs and Ma’ams. I been wond’rin’ this same Puzzlement for, lo, these past three weeks or so. Perhaps someone can provide me with a Saint Bernard doggeh, with barrel of sustenance around his/ her huge neck for the journey….
[but then, with the current Airport Regulations, that might not "fly"....]

    • Queen of Dork says:

I’ve been wondering where the heck he is too.

      • bookmonstercats says:

No need for a St Bernard in the UK at the moment, O NO. The UK is largely basking in wintry sunshine and above freezing temperatures, unlike you Peeps, I gather.

Hopefully, the Hon Glad is indeed cavorting pinkly* on the Costa del Sol, Tenerife, Majorca, The Dominican Republic, etc etc and other Brit-disporting areas – most of us are very well behaved, but the sun gets to us in the end.

        Stay warm and safe, everybody.

        * We always turn pink in the sun unless, like me, we swelter beneath factor 30 and a hat.

        • StormCat42 says:

*ahem* I would like to request pictures of this aforementioned “cavorting”… *evil grin*

        • Theresa says:

Zinc cream and a handkerchief hat!

          • bookmonstercats says:

… and boots and socks below rolled up heavy serge trousers, a la Monty Python.

@Storm, no you wouldn’t. We’re not graceful cavorters, sad to say. In the unaccustomed sun, the alcohol goes to our heads in 0.3 of a nano-second.

        • muttluver says:

*whiiiiiiine* Can he come over here and bring his warm weather with him?? I don’t like being iced in anymore!! My mom took my car and I’m stuck inside, and I don’t wanna take a walk for fear of breaking my neck, and I hate the treadmill, and it’s COLD outside, and… and… and…..

Cute puppy. White snow. *falls over*

          • muttluver says:

I’m sorry about the above comment, but I haven’t gotten outside for days now and I’M GOING CRAZY!!!

Just look at the puppy. Happy puppy. Puppy makes you laugh…….

  6. Elena1030 says:

¡Qué gozo él tiene! (Translation: What joy he has!)

Anerable lil bundle… I wondered if he was about to etch a heart in the snow with his pathway. *Ahn.*

  7. gizmo says:

Somehow, this latest remake of To Build a Fire, starring Gozo as The Dog, just doesn’t have the same suspense as London’s short story.

  8. Dash says:

If we had knelt down to see the expression on his face, this is what we would have seen:
“And now, I am going to go roll on their pillows. Make me struggle through the snow for your enjoyment, will you??”

  9. Ermine says:

Oh my god :( He is like a single molecule of pup~

  10. puppy lumpkins says:

My comment appears to be trapped in moderation purgatory… was it the jabberwoky referrence? I promise that “galumphing” is not a bad word :( *sniffle sniffle*

    • browngrl says:

I sure that was it. After all we must think of the children – first they see the word jabberwoky and then it is just a slippery slope to depravity on skid row.

      • O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

        *Hearty guffaw*

        • puppy lumpkins says:

*dramatically clasps hands to chest* Whatever was I thinking subjecting those poor innocent children to such madness? What kind of indecent soul would dare to expose a child to Lewis Carroll?! The inhumanity of it all!!!
          Aaaghhhhh!…

          wait a minute…

Sarcasm, thy name is puppy lumpkins!

    • Theresa says:

      Galumph galumph!

  11. tweetie says:

Ok, throw it again, see if he goes again……;)

    • Stressfactor says:

Actually, the guy does say “See if he’ll do it again”. When I heard that I thought ‘well, that’s a little mean.’ First time is funny and cute, after that it starts getting a little mean.

Not to nuff or anything because, had I a dog, I would probably do it once myself…
      ; >

  12. J. says:

Also from the Snowpocolypse files, there have been reports of penguins tubing in Connecticut.

  13. Lillith says:

I love this. You could already tell he was wee, but when he came inside and his mama took the toy I nearly fell over from the prosh teeneyness!!

  14. Berg says:

It seems like one toss was enough for this little guy. I’m tired out just from watching him work his way through the mounds of snow!

  15. victoreia says:

Nothing so cruel as making a pup-morsel swim through snow drifts!

  16. muttluver says:

I love this. Just the pick me up I needed today.

  17. hyura says:

this qualifies as the definition of ehn ehn ehn ehn. yay!

  18. the bug man says:

That is not a dog. That is their pet inchworm.

  19. Jaylee says:

Today’s Sesame Street brought to you by the letter “o” in snow (spelled out by cute leetle puppy feet)!

  20. jillamo says:

what kind of dog is this? LOVE!

  21. Gigi (the original one) says:

LOL the look on the pupster’s face when he finally makes it back inside with his toy!

    He’s thinking:
    - You throw it again lady and you can fetch it yourself!

  22. MamaDawn in Tulsa says:

My spoiled husky is doing the same… Three good hops out the door, and a quick reverse. We got 16 inches of snow in Tulsa (which is like several feet to those who are used to the fluffy stuff). She doesn’t like her tummy dragging in the snow, and it is too powdery to walk on top of it.

    • O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

      Did you inform S.H. of
the traditional involvement of Huskies and “la neige” aka snow????

  23. leaves of cat grass says:

best effort by a pup since… corgi flop!!!

  24. TrixandSam says:

My little girl Trixie does this. She’s like a tank rumbling through the snow. Except it’s a tank that has a bad front tread and so she makes a giant arc around instead of a straight line there and back.

    I love determined dogs.

  25. TrixandSam says:

Little threadjack here: pray for all the poor animals caught in the massive storms. Pray for all the shelter workers who have gone the extra mile to get into work or to animals that need help. Finally, pray for those who’ve taken in an animal needing relief from this awful weather.

    Amen.

    • StormCat42 says:

Ok peeps, glasses up for the shelter workers, the animal clinic workers, and the folks who work at the zoos taking care of their critters!! *holds up coffee cup* A big SALUTE to ye all!!!!

      • ceejoe says:

And to the foster peeps, who take care of the critters in theirs homes! *holds up mug of water since I’ve already finished my coffee for the day!*

    • Miriam says:

Cheers! And great point may I add.

  26. stephanie says:

Had to mute the video. As cute as the dog was, the doggie mommy’s high pitched yapping made me want to light myself on fire.

    • Jude says:

OMG, lol!!! And I haven’t even watched the clip with sound yet.. Not sure I will!

Watching the little dog I was just hoping his heart would be strong enough.. But it’s cute as hell! Cold hell! (:

      • Jude says:

Okay, I just DID watch with the sound on and ………………………………… *myeeeeeeeeeeears!*

    • Trabb's Boy says:

Manners, please. I was just imagining what fun it would be to see your little doggerpiller ooching through the snow on Cute Overload and seeing all the squees of the commenters. Suddenly getting hit with a mean personal comment would really bring that mood down.

      Schoolmarm out.

      • ceejoe says:

Agreed. Don’t people realize that the people that they’re being mean to are possibly reading these comments too? Why would you want to hurt the feelings of another human being when they’ve done us the favor of sharing the love and joy they feel for their beautiful pet?

    • Fluffy says:

It’s the Cute Effect. Highly scientific enquiries have shown that within a 6 foot radius (physical or virtual) of something cute, a human’s voice will rise 2.34 octaves. And for pupsicles, voices have been known to rise up to 3.17 octaves.

    • muttluver says:

      -_-

  27. Karate Mom says:

I love how he stops and takes a lick at the snow he’s tracked in! “Ooo, what’s this cold, wet stuff?”

  28. doranyc says:

Please tell me that Duck is named “Camilla”.

  29. Wendy says:

My rabbit took one look out the back door, sneezed once, and ran back down the hall and under the couch!

  30. Miriam says:

Who needs a shovel when you’ve got a yorkie?

  31. katz says:

Caution: puppeh makes wide right turns.

  32. Ali-baba says:

Peeps? I can’t see the video- can someone post a link?
    Than you! :-)

  33. Catsquatch says:

Snow angels are just so passe….

For 2011 the in thing is SNOW BALLOONS!!!!

  34. Jenni says:

Yay!!!! This is my cousin Beth’s dog! I told her to submit the video to CO!! PS – I saw someone up there said the name was misspelled, no, his name is actually Gozo!

And for the people that said watch the mean comments, I appreciate it. I was going to show my cousin that her video got on CO, but I’m not going to now because the mean comments about her voice would hurt her feelings (she is very petite and the sweetest girl you’ve ever met, she is just naturally excited all the time!).

  35. corbin says:

    dddddddddaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its so cute
