A Pionus parrot, Magellan
Fell in love with a BIG watermelon
Their love was quite tricky
You might even say “sticky”
‘Cause water weight gain causes swellin’
My deepest apologies for the previous post
Loving the tag “interspecies snorgling” on this one. Ha.
Holy mandibles, Batman!
I didn’t know that Parrots could smile!! *tilts head*
Somewhere beyond the sea
She’s there watchin’ for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms I’d go sailin’
It’s far beyond the star
It’s near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon
Lovely, “We’ll always have parrots”- ouch!
No need to apologies, post was excellente.

Rule of Operation:
When Thou Openest CO, Thou Shalt Not Allow a Beverage at the Desk.
(profound-sounding angelic choir in background)
Yer place ‘r mine, HG????

Off-set every so cleverly by the red at his throat and on his beak. I mean, they were meant to be together!!
My parrots lurves him some watermelon too!
A happier parrot is seldom to be seen; 😆 😆
For his next trick, he will attempt to stash both melon-halves inside his cage:
To help accomplish this feat, all donations, of any denomination whatever, will be gladly accepted…….. (these will help defray the huge expenses of the ginormous shoe-horn that will be employed in this food-hoarding endeavor……..!1!1! )
Motto: Anything to keep your pet happy;
I thought that was understood?
AND watermelon seeds.

“It was nailed there…”
This parrot has ceased to exist…
This is plain silly, and I mean that in the best possible way.
“Silly” is an endearment in our house!
pasta…but especially spaghetti
Oooh, the birdy is most obviously in heaven!
That was, is, and always shall be the best computer generated response ever.
I’m pretty sure I would have done the same thing if I’d had watermelon on New Year’s morning. Coolness would have helped the head, sweet melon would have been hydrating (and easy on the stomach) . . . my feathers aren’t quite as pretty, though.
Sometimes I do that to my watermelon too.
Fantastic all around! Great captions. I lof eet!
Naww!! I love this!! My lori does this too… rubs things she loves with her face!! Toooooo cute!!
Whew, babel fish got it right, ze Fronche part that is.
Does that stand for “Watermelon Totally Fabulous”??? 🙂
It’s different from the love 😀
It kind of looks like me, with tiramisu.
