( I was typin’ / scribblin’ without having done any research…)
so now I went & dug up the articles/ Wikipedia gives the following:
a made-for-television film broadcast in 1976-77.
The article states that the weekly program which was developed, ran from approx 1978-1983 with R. Montalban and H. Villechaize (sp).
It also mentions the tv producers deciding not to keep H. V. on the program during the 1983-84 season.
So it kinda sits on the fence of 70s/80s, with one foot in each decade.
But I’m glad you gave me a reason to do some research.
