DAMN the torpedoes full ferret ahead !
“Come to mummy!”
Lady, I see a pool chair and a cold banana daiquiri at the side with my NAME on it.
I call a fake! My two guys hate water so much, they would drown out of spite.
My 2 love water!
Tiny legs paddle
Swiftly and determinedly
Mischievous serpent
Looks like his tail is acting as a rudder. What a cutie.
“I wonder if Mom knows this bathwater tastes funny.”
Ferret soup!
You will believe a ferret can swim!
Feret fandango ole’
Winston being the cameraman?
Winston is the ferret, methinks.
However there *HAVE* been CO posts, stating *a* Winston as cameraman.
I remember asking/ commenting about *our* Winston on it, but got no data in response …
I know your both in the same family, but for the last time your not an otter. Whats next, you’re gonna paint yourself like a skunk?
hee! what a fine swimmer… I bet he could beat Michael Phelps at any swim meet!
I’d let her play with my furry sea snake.
er…..
uh…
Where’s Sharpy when we need her?
If it’s furry, you might consider consulting a doctor.
LOL
I second Hon Glad’s LOL!
Inappropriate. Please go be a troll elsewhere.
Having just watched “The Big Labowski”, I’d like to say, NICE MARMOT, lady.
That always drove me crazy! Dude, that is not a marmot! Walter, it was not a rodent!
….that’s kinda the point.
And maybe it is illegal to keep an aquatic rodent for…you know…domestic purposes…in a residential…
He needs floaties!
As long as he doesn’t leave little floaties in the pool!
oooooooooooooo GOOD point, HG!!
I want the pool and I want the ferret. And then I want a body that will respect a bikini.
word.
ooh, can I have seven of these a-swimming instead of those swans? pweas? the birds make such a mess…
Um.. Just how does one *know* that a ferret loves swimming? Did it tell her? :/
because when they don’t, they climb up anything they can to get out of the water. How do you know that the ferret didn’t climb into the pool?
Probably because it’s not screaming in terror. And it swam towards her when called, rather than panicking and trying to tread water. And it didn’t latch onto her or anything when she pet it. In other words, it wasn’t freaked out or anything.
It’s like that old joke – it’s illegal for blind men to go skydiving, because everyone knows it scares the hell out of the dogs. Ever hear a german shepherd scream at 10,000 feet?
In this case, I would consider it a fair inference drawn from the fact that
1) the ferret swam in circles towards the open water, rather than making a beeline for the side of the pool, and
2) the ferret jumped away from the woman back into the water rather than trying to climb up her to get out.
“Winston”…?
When I get my ferret, I’m gonna name him “Marcus”.
Either that, or “Ferret Bueller”. Or “Ferret Faucett” if it’s a girlie ferret.
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
I think that in my head while I swim. Viva Dory!
That is not cool… you shouldn’t make a ferret swim in anything they can’t touch the floor.
Well, his humans are literally right there, so if anything bad happened, you know, they could help the little guy out. :3
Besides, ferrets just have little stubby legs. He wouldn’t be able to swim in anything that was shallow enough for his lil feet to touch the floor. XD
Seasocks!
Furry Seasocks!
No, kodalai,
The ferret swam toward the side of the pool, but she grabbed him and dragged him back. Maybe he likes it, maybe not–but he wasn’t given the choice.
Believe me, if he wanted to escape he would have. He would have climbed his momma in a second and held on. And he would have swam much faster to the edge of the pool.
Furry tube sock, swimming….I can now die, knowing I’ve seen everthing…
AND this affirms my suspicion that if these things ever got on the march, that woul be IT for the human race…
The amphibious rodent!
Nice marmot.
