You can get sneakers for mini-horses – they are pretty much required for guide horses (little hooves are hard on floors!)

Believe me, he went out in the snow willingly! They made paths for themselves by hopping through it, kind of like dogs do.

Peeps, peeps, peeps, I’m not sure about this breed of horse, but horses grow gnarly winter coats, this wee horsey is probably plenty warm enough, especially taking into account that sweet blanket/coat/snuggie!
He’s actually clipped, since he stays in work during the year. So he has to be bundled!

He looks like my van this morning. Luckily i got out of the driveway but i probably won’t get back in. My little dogs look like this when we get snow. Sometimes i do have to go rescue them from the snowbanks. Of course not right away. It is fun to laugh at them first.

Corgis in snow are hilarious. Like little leaping snowplows with ears…until somebody gets out there with a shovel and makes life easy again for them!

My Little Snowny
Just for some perspective, he’s 30 inches at the withers.
I worry about the outside animals when it snows. We have 3 pet donkeys that keep getting out of the barn and it’s snowing hard here. My heart goes out to them. I wish they would just stay in the “warm” barn.
