PUPPIES. <3 I just want to huggle them both! X3

  2. 260Oakley says:

    Double Chubble!
Love how Dad finally lays down the paw there in the middle.

  3. Resolved: Bulldog ‘tocks are even ‘tockier than nearly other kind of dog ‘tocks with the possible exception of pug ‘tocks.

  4. debg says:

Is Chaucer submissive? Oh yes, he is!

  5. S.J. Hartsfield says:

Oh my Gawd oh my GAWD. Chaucer needs to put his tongue back in his head yes he does! ::is stupid::

  6. Theresa says:

    Whoa!

  7. Brandi says:

SQUEEEEEE! What a bunch of sweet chubbular babies!!! <3

  8. Denise A. says:

Dad’s all like Curly with the extended-arm, “nnnyyyyyhhhhhmmmm” empty threats, and daughter’s all like Moe–one good smackdown, followed by the Glare of Death. Then poor Dad’s like, “YeahbutYeahbutYeahbutYeahbut…she took my bone! Aw, fuhgeddit.”

  9. Noelegy says:

Chaucer: best English bulldog name EVER. The only one that even comes close is Ron White’s dog Sluggo.

  10. Oh, this is one of my favourite videos on YouTube! Chaucer looks all gruff, but he really just wants to plaaaaay.

  11. Nikki says:

Ooh, the Tocks Up! Salute to Tocktober at 0:30 is fantastic!! LOL. :D

And Chaucer’s tongue, plus all of the chubby rolls on both of them are spectacular.

  12. spb says:

That is just sweet!! Chaucer… best dad in the world. ‘Til dinner time. Then his owners will probly get the “HUH??” look from him.

  13. kibblenibble says:

This video is five minutes and eleven seconds of sheer bliss. Precious. :-)

  14. O NO He/ She/ It Di-unt!!! says:

    1: suggeshet a Marc Ant(h)ony Experience Tag.
2: Agree that Chaucer + English Bulldog = WIN
3: Denise A has a lovely point about Sir Chaucer’s empty threats.

    In summary:
    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

    Carry on.

  15. (The Original) Mel says:

I done seen this on CO before. It’s like Deja Cute all over again.

  16. chanpon says:

Even Chaucer gets freaked out by mini-me’s.

  17. mamabear says:

Well shame on me. I thought they couldda cut out the first and last minute and a half and it would have been just as cute, but not as dang long. Also, the humans kinda got on mah nerves. Mah ears are bleeding!

With those two things griped about, the rest of the video was quite cute. She looks like his opposite sex clone. I’ma bet this gets moderated…

  18. mamabear says:

    aaand I was right :(

  19. Carey Ann says:

I just love the intermittent, oblivious glares at the camera! Our dogs do that so much. (Man, I can’t comment as well as y’all… Ah, well!)

    • Sharpy says:

      @carey ann

      >>(Man, I can’t comment as well as y’all… Ah, well!)

      you’re doing fine. keep going!

  20. Fern says:

    Chaucer, absolutely perfect name!

All that pouncing backward and watching the puppy is just the doggie way of saying, “Let’s play.” My dog does it all the time but people freak out because she’s an AmStaff and they assume she’s trying to attack their dogs. The biggest wish in her heart is to pounce like that and have someone pounce back and really play with her.

  21. Catherine says:

If Chaucer thinks to himself “If I had known a few minutes of fun was going to end up with this little bone snatcher….”

  22. flutterby says:

Awwww the wrinkularity, the little puppeh growlingks and puppeh barks! I luff at the beginning where she starts nomming on her pa’s paw…

  23. MK says:

Chaucer was like, “What the— she looks just like m— HEY WAITASECOND SHE TOOK MY BONE!” XD

  24. bagoguts says:

Total awesomeness! Girl puppehs are taking over the world! hee

  25. bagoguts says:

I wish ppl would STFU about being moderated!! Wah wah wah. too bad so sad. We don’t care! Hmfff.

  26. dub1 says:

Ffwd to 2:10 for the ‘What the!’ moment and 4:48 for the awwww moment.

  27. Theresa says:

This might be the shweetest thing I’ve ever seen.

  28. Mocha says:

Awwww! I love the little nose beeps at around 3:45, and the way Chaucer looks at her like “Can I poke her without causing permanent damage?” What an adorable daddy :)

  29. Martha in Washington says:

I got the gigglefits too! What a beautiful daddy/daughter thing. Would love to see them all dressed up for their first daddy/daughter dance. He in his chesterfield suit and top hat and she in her pink sparkly dress and tiny tiara. *sigh*

  30. Lorel J says:

Chaucer? I thought she was saying “Tosser!” I think either name is perfect for that fellah.

  31. Michelle says:

I would have enjoyed it except for the sqeaking, sqealing humans that ruined it for me.

  32. Cute Heaven says:

    How cute reunion :) !

  33. Tigress says:

Those are two seriously cute Bullies. But that is possibly the loudest camera-phone I’ve ever heard. “No pictures please!”

  34. katz says:

At 3:08 he’s all like “What are you laughing at?”

  35. Mary (the first) says:

So sweet.. so much like many other papas, half enchanted, half terrified of the new precious little baby girl. And then they immediately succumb when she says (barks), “I wanna…” (fill in blank of what she wants.) “Um.. I dunno.. oh, okay, sure!” SWEET

  36. bookmonstercats says:

Oh look, she’s got his nose. Aaaahn.

  37. Hayley says:

    TOSSER???…….oh wait…..

  38. DillPig says:

Snarfle snorgle muzzlepoushe grrrr whuffle sneurg soft noses bumping….ahn *head tilt*…

The only doggie ‘tocks better than bulldog ‘tocks are corgi ones….

  39. Rachael says:

Miss Squeeky McWrinkleson already has her daddy wrapped around her leetle paw.

  40. derz says:

He’s all like “you’re just like your mother, with your incessant yapping and always taking MY stuff.”

  41. Old John says:

Oh yes, that little one should make a delicious hot dog…

  42. mie says:

Love the way larger dogs observe/greet beings much smaller than them with their chin squished to the ground, so as to not appear so big. I mean the thing Daddy does for example at around 3:44 and 4:30.
Also love the Baby’s looks at the camera: “Yeah, of course I’m in charge here. What didya expect?”

  43. LisaL says:

Hilarious, I love the lttle paw waves and pats that the big cuddly daddy gives to the pup. And I think the squeals from the owner are adorable b/c they match my own lol.

  44. Chantal Lyons says:

    WHAT IS IT?????

  45. pookie says:

    Marc Anthony!

  46. Gigi says:

I love Bull Dogs (but own hunting dogs) So many males seem to just wonderful with puppies! This flim was just adorable. I could watch it all day!

  47. Hillbilly says:

This could only be improved if the click of the camera phone weren’t there. It was distracting!

Daddy knows who is boss now doesn’t he?

  48. katy says:

watched with sound off. perfect! most adorabuhls. i wonder how many doggie daddies ever get to have a relationship with their offspring?

martha in washington said: “Would love to see them all dressed up for their first daddy/daughter dance. He in his chesterfield suit and top hat and she in her pink sparkly dress and tiny tiara.”

    PERFECT. :)

  49. pyrit says:

Hee, at first Dad is all, “Who dares disturb mah brooding?” And then the coffee kicks in.

  50. JerilynS says:

Had me SETE = Smiling ear to ear!!

  51. Theresa says:

    Dad is puppy-whipped.

  52. Jimbeaux says:

    3:52 – Nose beep! :)

  53. corianne says:

“Um, Dad, a little help here…the couch seems to be attempting to eat me…”

I love that they have the same spot in on the top of their heads.

And wrinkly Mr. Papapants is trying to incite playtime. And that, Ms. Annoying-giggling-behind-the-camera is what he is doing.

  54. .twist. says:

Ok, only because I don’t know and hope someone can help me out here. They’re meeting for the first time, does he know she is his offspring? If so, how can he tell?

  55. .twist. says:

Oh! but either way, SO CUTE.

  56. tobesograteful says:

Oh yeah, they’re BOTH so fierce!!

  57. Annie says:

Get your little arse off ma bone, kid!

  58. Hyura says:

i don’t mind the shutter clicks/giggle fits, as i would’ve been guilty of precisely the same for 5+ minutes – having someone film the whole thing while i myself take a million pics. tee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee.

  59. O NO He/She/It DI-unt!!! says:

    @ katy:

“and she in her pink sparkly dress and tiny tiara” = YAY

  60. siorghra says:

It just seems SO dad-like to me that on their very first meeting he starts teasing her and playing all gentle. :D

  61. gryt says:

That is one tough leetle girl. :D

  62. Dogwalker says:

When I tell my dog, Balto, a German Shepherd-Husky mix, that “I’m gonna get you!” he drops his head down on the floor between his paws and keeps his butt up in the air. It’s so funny to see big dogs act submissive!

  63. kuki says:

aww i’ve submitted this video a few weeks ago, glad to see it here ^_^ i find it sooo adorable!

  64. Martha in Washington says:

The “head down, butt up” thing is dog-speak for “let’s play”. We used to do that with our dear late Jewel. She would be laying quietly and one of the kids would drop down in that position and then all bets were off. There would be a big ole wrassling match with lots of chasing and barking and giggling. I miss her so much!

  65. baileysmom says:

How come the e-mail option doesn’t work for me on these? Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Sure would like to share some of these little films. This is too adorable for words.

  66. Ali-baba says:

Carey Ann–I saw the glares too– kind of a, “whut? You’ve never seen a puppeh play with Dad before?” look. :-)

To third, or perhaps fourth it — yay for suit & pink sparkly dress/tiara combo! I bet lil’ miss mini me could talk daddy into wearing the tiara…then they’d have a tea party, natch! ;-)

  67. brokentreasures says:

i agree with michelle. i would much prefer if the taker of these videos would keep their mouths shut!! i love seeing these cuties, but it is ruined by constant laughing and screams by the parents.

    • Sharpy says:

      @brokentreasures

      >>i would much prefer if the taker of these videos would keep their mouths shut!!

      that’s not very nice.

      • ratchic says:

Volume on/off works good for that. Most of the time when we see videos that make us snerk, sniffle, laugh and giggle we wonder how the camera operator can keep from doing so as well. This owner shared the squee!

  68. Angela W says:

I call Matchingks and Rule #7, a thing, accompanied by a smaller version of that thing, is always cute. Excellent example.

  69. Hon Glad says:

Er Margery is this one of ours, I haven’t seen it before, what have you been getting up to while I was at the vets.
Of course it’s ours Chaucer, remember when I wore that pink negligee and you, well you remember.
    Of course sorry old girl.

  70. mplsdeb says:

That was the cutest video!!! Those little tocks are too cute.
Dad is a pushover! I love how when she barks (those were also cute) how dad jumps little bit…and the Tongue!…oh cuteoverload. As for the giggles of the humans, I thought they were sweet and they matched my giggles as well.

  71. Palooza says:

I have 6 Chihuahua puppies and I can spend hours watching them play and cuddle with their mom and dad, it is the cuties thing in the whole world.

  72. Catherine says:

Haha. Even better with the sound! I love how he keeps looking at the camera. Seems to me like he is saying “Hey you, yeah you with the camera. Quit taking pictures and DO SOMETHING about this bone-stealing interloper!” until the very end when they touch noses. Awww.

  73. pyrit says:

OMG, Theresa, that is so funny!

  74. Mrs. Kravitz says:

So, barely got her eyes open and already managed to wrap Dad right ’round her liddle pawsie? Yup, that sounds about right. You go, princess!

  75. Presto says:

Chaucer is completely bemused. And his name is Chaucer, which makes him automatically superior.

  76. barkbark says:

    Oh, great.
My dad’s a kid and my owners are bath toys…seems it’s all down to me now.

  77. clg says:

I’m pretty sure that’s a male puppy. As you can see in the beginning, there is no [EXCISED FOR THE IMMATURE AMONG US] under the tail and you can even catch site of some balls ["BALLS" EES OKAY. I HEARD IT ON GLEE.] (-Mod.)

    • clg says:

people here are really so immature they can’t handle scientific terminology??

      • ratchic says:

Maybe, but the moderated parts made it funnier!

      • Sharpy says:

i’ve been “reminded” that children are viewing this site. maybe mom doesn’t want to be pestered with an early morning, “what is a volvo?” i know i don’t want to be pestered with parents who pester me about those immature readers.

  78. husky says:

Does anyone recommend that I buy a Siberian husky? I have a medium sized backyard.

  79. psychethos says:

Loved it. The little paw on the giant nose just melted my heart.

I thought the laughing fit quite perfectly with the video as well. I’m such an empathetic laugher, if someone else goes into gigglefits I can’t help but do so myself, even if I have no idea what they’re laughing at.

  80. O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

    @ moderator:

“excised” = NICE VOCAB “cherce” there, ma’am/ suh!! :)

  81. O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

    @ Mrs. Kravitz: :)

  82. O NO He/ She/ It DI-unt!!! says:

Hon Glad: sounds as though you were the therapist for that session!! :)

  83. Awww. I joined right in there with the high pitched gigglies. Those mini-growls. Adorabuhls. :D

  84. Mary says:

    What, no Matchingks tag?? <3

  85. mplsdeb says:

I couldn’t help myself, I had to come back and watch this again….and giggle.

  86. Megan says:

When that bebe crawled under the big’uns enormous head, I almost died from adorableness.
