I laugh out loud when I catch my Sammy smiling. He’s not the brightest bulb in the box so he’s usually in a happy state of mind, but the times he’s got the big smile on, it looks like he’s thinking the ultimate happy thoughts (which include chasing chipmunks and squirrels, eating peanut butter, and having his ribs tickled).

@TrixandSam, I saw a lovely grinning golden retriever head hanging out a truck window yesterday– I had to laugh at loud as they went by.
It’s that pure joy, isn’t it. I can’t stop myself from laughing because Sammy’s smile is so simple and honest. Sigh.

This is why I love dogs. They always seem to have this goofy look their faces. Cats are cute, but sometimes they look like they want to maul me, lol.

Makin’ the rounds, I see … spreading Corgi Power far and wide.
Yay!
The third one is Elmer, our little wonderful Corgi runt. He is the happiest, funniest, dopiest dog I’ve met. And I he has brought me so much happiness in a time where I’ve had some health problems. He jumps right on my lap as soon as I sit down, and he does this thing where he rubs his face on my face and whimpers and purrs like a cat. It’s awesome.
