But there’s never rest for the weary, somebody needs to get working on this wicked needle claws! Start early clipping and you’ll have a much more willing dog for nail trims.
Katey, there are no such thing as “toy” French bulldogs. You probably ran into a runt (gosh I hope so). My frenchie is a runt, only 18 pounds at a year old and about the same size as a smallish cat, but a great bulldog body, very dense as the breed should be. And he is the cutest thing you’ll ever see, and I’m surprised he turned out so small, but to me, he’s perfect. His sister is much bigger than him…she’s owned by my vet.
I don’t mean to admonish you…I just worry about a breed that is already subject to bad breeders and health issues branding their dogs as “toy” french bulldogs. I would hate to see people try to shrink these guys down to make a boutique breed…that would be very sad and irresponsible.
He is the cutest EVA!!!! I want!! Can’t stop looking at him and wishing I could boop that cute pink schnozzle and rub his velvet belleh.

There would be one problem with that. I would go insane. They are crazy little dogs. So, I am resigned to having just two. My husband knows I am thinking about a French Bulldog. He thinks I’ve gone mad. Says he lives at the funny farm. He apparently likes it because he hasn’t left.
OMG can’t stand the cute!! Especially the pink tum-tum. Brain just exploded from the cuteness.
