Um, when I ordered the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine, this is not what I had in mind.

That’s one smart pooch! Knows how to beat a heat wave!
This guy knows he’s cool
It looks not so much asleep as passed out drunk.
Somebody had to say it…
That’s a Hot Dog!
It looks like he slid, fell down, just couldn’t be arsed to get up, and then realized, “Hey, this feels pretty good!”
Slush puppy?
Love it
Ice blorp!
Oh, what lovely juxtaposition between the soft rolls of flab and the jagged corners of the cubes!
Cute as a button and aesthetically pleasing!
Oohh, hes so cute. Adorable little creature. *erica*
that’s INGENIOUS.
best way to spend hot summer days.
Does bulldog + slushee = bullushee? (Oh, the embarrassment!)
Better than the snoopy snow cone machine! LOL
Move over, doggeh.
Maybe his name is Reunite. Remember? Reunite on ice, that’s nice!
his front paws…..they’re splayed.
Icebull Right Ahead!
That’s exactly what I need today, hot hot hot. Smart dog
pass the mustard please, this hot dog is done
yay — QoD shared this one with me a week or two ago!!!
Glad that everybody gets to enjoy it now.
Is it a hot dog or a chilly (chili) dog? Ice under your tum can cool you down quick.
Great photo, cute pup!
Blorp! Oh the wreenkles!. Poor hot bulladog, in your honor I think we should rename Wednesday Bulladogday. *pats bulladog on head*
I like that there’s a bulldog-shaped melt-patch forming under him. And, if I’m not mistaken, there might have been a companion doggeh beside him at one stage, because there looks to be an empty, formerly-occupied meltpatch next door to the bulldog. OR MAYBE it’s just my overactive imagination. OR MAYBE it was a ferret meltpatch, because it’s kinda knee-sock shaped.
OMG, I HAD a Snoopy Sno-cone machine!!!!
Man, I wish I coulda done that last week when it was so freakin hot here. Smart doggy!
Hmm…… needs a blorp tag!
ps okay ….here goes my best effort @ a related Pun:
“the Dog Days of Summer”
(cricket sound)
Thank you; thank you SO much; I’ll be here all week.
@O NO
come on back for the 9:00 show and don’t forget to tip your waitstaff!
That’s what I needed this morning and yesterday morning… talk about your “hot flashes”, having to work (behind glass) where the full morning sun hits… yeesh!
Yeah, we’ve all felt like this once in a while …
didn’t everyone have a snoopy snow cone machine?
this is much cuter
Birdcage: Yes, I see it! I think it was a ferret, too. Definite knee-sock shape!
*snerk* I laughed at this fat little fella.
I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow – in the middle of the driveway. Fabulous.
oh my gorsh! I never wanted a bulldog of my own more than right now. I squee for bulldogs
Well I’ll be dog gone.
I remember my friend had a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine back in 1988. She would make snow cones but wouldn’t let me have any or use the machine myself. Now that I think of it, she wasn’t my friend. lol
perfect cap-shun! hiwawious!
It’s a Marc Anthony (of looney tunes) sno cone machine… minus the kitten
I never had a Snoopy sno cone machine… *pouts* ‘Course I didn’t have a Easy Bake Oven either… *double pout*
@ Oakley, you did it again, Babe!! Great pun!!!
@ No, I actually liked your Doggy Day pun!! So here’s your tip… *hands over a fiver*
@ Wend, I have my own little biosphere where I go being menopausal and all, and this would be a great solution!!!
oh my, stormcat, I had an easybake oven too. (hugs)
but my favorite toy was spirograph. not the way they make it now, the original in the sixties.
oh, I love Marc Anthony and his kitten
@Chanpon #6: ROTFL. Brilliant.
I was doing this same thing up until yesterday when the power finally came back on at home. ILovePepcoILovePepcoILovePepco….
On a hot & humid day I’m right with ya bulldog
Dewd, move over and make some room!
We had a Snoopy Sno-Cone machine when we were kids! If I still had it I would donate it to the sad-faced doggie and make him slushicles all day!
Frozen poodle. GET IT!??!?
Ice, ice, baby.
*immediately revises*
Ice, ice, bully.
@ Stormcat: “for ME?????
)
@ Sharpy:
(I’m scrolling from the bottom of the comments and so didn’t see yours until after Stormcat’s)
At some point, we’re just going to bite the cookie and have a Marc Anthony tag.
I’m going to guess that Blondie lives somewhere in Maryland…
I saw this the other day, but I can’t remember WHERE?!?! Given our weather here lately, I think that’s the ONLY solution to it. Even the pools are like bathwater.
Are we sure he’s not just doing impressions? “Polar bear…. Polar bear with invisible ferret friend…”
I lub heem. SQUEE.
pupcicle! : )
YAY Julie Webster!!!
I can hear the sizzling hiss from here. Must’ve taken the pic just after the cloud of steam cleared.
That’s my mom’s dog…his name is Tuff…he lives in Conroe, TX…and it IS really hot here!
@Kristabelle #53: Oh yeah. Right in the middle of Monkey County. My office was out for two days, home for three… I actually found my kitty babies in the bath tub trying to stay cool. My mother’s neighborhood just got power back today, but they still don’t have phones or cable. Amazing what a 20 min storm will do…
@marcy #59: Tuff is really smart, and a pretty boy too! His little face says it all…
I can’t help it. I’m thinking that dog, that kind of dog especially, should be kept inside air conditioning as much as possible. They seem to be extra sensitive to the heat.
Very, cute tho.
Pretty good solution when the A/C is out, though, eh LyndaLu?
I lived without A/C at all for many years. It required getting creative to keep my pets comfortable – ice on the driveway didn’t cross my mind, although I did duct tape towels around freezer packs and put them on the floor for my cats to lie on. They loved those “waterbeds” when the heat hit hard.
The dogs opted for this instead: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthpicturegalleries/5732428/Animals-keeping-cool-with-ice-lollies-in-the-summer-heat.html?image=9
From the same picture set – It’s an otter with a pasickie!: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthpicturegalleries/5732428/Animals-keeping-cool-with-ice-lollies-in-the-summer-heat.html?image=12
*quiet squeeeeeeeee* Earlier in that same gallery is a porcupine – a porcupine! – with a pasickie. Looks like twoo wuv!
OkayI’llquitnow.
brrrrrr, I’m cold…
Sadly, this breed of dog is very prone to easily overheating and in some conditions really does need to be kept on ice.
There is a football team, Georgetown I believe, who has to keep their mascot in a dog house with a ton of ice during games.
I just want a red bull over ice, please.
“hot dog”??…..more like “chilly-dog”
He’s a SLUSH PUPPIE!
His name is Tuff. He resides in Conroe, TX. This was taken after a crawfish boil at the airport. Can’t believe my baby is a worldwide celebrity!!
