Cute Overload :D
Ehn! [Feet running in the air rabbit-style]
Ehn! [STOP ITTT! MOM!!!]
Sender-Inner Nicole M. says kittens Sig and Remi take turns with couch pinning.
“Kiss me DAMEET!! Kiss me NOW!” LOL
That is the most adorable photo!!
Twin Marmie Kittayns! Squeeeee!
It’s like they are each looking into a marmy mirror. Being the person of a small but ferocious red tabby I can say marmies are the best cats ever! (Except for Oscar who joins marmies in the best of cats category!)
Seriously thought I had a vet once tell me that if I wanted a cat with the sweetest personality I should get a marmy. Evidently they are the sweetest cats. Not biased or anything, but have talked to a lot of marmelade cat owners and they all say the same thing. Hmmmmm. Maybe kitteh and I get along because of similarity in hair colour?
it’s supposed to read; seriously though, not seriously thought
Bottom marmling: *snrf-snrf* “Heeeeeyyyy… I smell tuna! When did you get tuna?? And why was there none for me?!”
The little pink hindbeans and orange caterpillar tail did me in. Did Nicole M. bring enough kittens to share? ;)
Speaking of kittehs… (bit of a thread-jack here – apologies in advance to all and sundry who are offended/upset/disgruntled by it) – my dearest Suki, a Siamese mix, has developed a most puzzling habit: when I walk in from work, she will greet me, smell my hands (to find out what I’ve been up to, obvy) and then will go to the litter box to, ahem!, twinkle. At first I thought nothing of it, thinking it was mere coincidence, but after a few weeks of it, I have realized it’s become SOP. Anybody have any idea what it means? Thoughts and theories are welcome…
Now back to orange cuteness…
and I shall kees you, and hug you and kees you…
“Pinned ya again!
Oh my! I had a little marmie girl and she was a little dickens! All I could think when I saw those two was, DOUBLE TROUBLE!! Double cute too!!
Could these two marmie kittens also be Siamese twin kittens?!
Madame X – I’ve noticed changes in that arena can sometimes be a reaction to new odors, usually if you come home smelling of a strange cat, but also sometimes new perfumes, soaps and whatnot. If she’s not going more often in general, then maybe she’s just more polite than the ones who moisten the carpet with their opinion? *shrug*
The only other similar thing was in a multi-cat household where one of the (all spayed) female cats became super-dominant toward the other cats. The low cat on the totem pole smelled her all over the litterbox and was afraid to use it unless “Mom” was home; she “held it” until then, or used the hall rug.
Oh chérie, come with me to the Casbah. we shall make beautiful music together.
Arrrg the face-on-face action is killing me! Too cute!!
Thank you, B! That makes sense: I changed jobs recently and am now working in a fairly old building. Perhaps Suki does not appreciate the new place? Egad, if that’s the case, we’re in a bit of a bind, since I don’t think I can make career decisions based on my cat’s olfactory likes and dislikes…
Double trouble, indeed! Doubley cute!! Nom nom.
I kissed a marmie and I liked it..
ooo hiss mrow.. a fight to the tired!!!
As long as she keeps going IN the litterbox, Madame X, and doesn’t flee from pettin’s, hopefully she’ll adjust. :)
Also: I keep noticing the bottom kit’s bent left ear-tip. It’s probably the pillow next to it doing that, but even so, it makes me wonder: Can he fly? ;)

I hyperventilated a little bit from the cuteness.
Hard to tell where one kitten ends and the other begins.
@Madame X, love that your Siamese is named Suki; the first Siamese I ever had was also Suki. I don’t know a lot about the smelling thing but maybe it’s that you come home.. door slams.. wakes her up .. she has to twinkle (having been asleep for, most likely, hours) but she feels the need to make sure your new scents are ok before tending to business? Once she realizes the new scents are not ominous she’ll settle down (?). My theory.
hello young loverz……………..
the other thought which came to mind: This is obvy a love-hate relashe.
Check out the Yoda ears on the bottom one!
bottom kit says:
“In my personal space, you are. Bunny-kicked all the way to Pluto, you will be!”
TWOO TINEE TABBEES!
Oh, Theo, we miss you and your Marmie obsession.
THis makes me think of Theo too. Our man in the field.
@BStrange: I didn’t have the brain power this morning for a good Yodaism for this shot. Thanks for helping out this girl’s depleted brain wattage.
LEETLE PINK TOE BEANSIIII
nom nom nom nom
Say Uncle! SAY IT!!! Or I’ll gob in yer mouth you dweeb!
WANT … BOTH… KITTEHS!!
A friend told me that the upside-down bunny-kick move is actually a cat’s best defense — so the cat on the bottom, who looks like he’s getting the worst of it, is probably the one winning the fight! Here’s to bunny-feet thrashin’s!
“Frankly, my kitteh, I don’t give a damn.”
“Say I have dog breathe” ..funny
@TrixandSam: It was irresistible. After your post, I looked at a picture of Yoda annoyed… It was even the same ear-tip bent. Good call. :D
Thanks all! They definitely are double the trouble. The little girl, Remi,is my instigator and teaches her brother, Sig, all the naughty behaviior….she’s definitely going to rule the house (which consists of her brother and 3 dogs!!!)
Awww, kissin’ kittens! :-)
And that’s why they call female cats “Queens”. ;)
Big Kees, little kees!
Baby toe pads!!! aagh!
naugty little kittens. hehehehe
@ BStrange: I might not be the pun-master Oakley is, but I sure can spot things in a photo. (for what good that does me.)
I have a male ginger tabby who looked just like these boys when he was small, and our veterinary cardiologist and her technician swear that something about ginger males makes them the sweetest cats and some of the easiest to handle. They said this while holding my squirming, yowling cat for an ultrasound, but he was expressing his feelings with his voice instead of with his pointy bits. They said some of the meanest cats are calicos and torties, females expressing one copy of the orange gene in a patchwork over parts of the body. I wonder how that works, because it sure sounds like some gene affecting temperament sits near the Orange gene on the X chromosome. I love genetics!
Well, one of these is a girl and the other a boy, and the girl is definitely a stronger personality then her brother. She’s been really sick since this and now that she’s starting to feel better she feels that everyone should bow down to her….which of course i comply. How could anyone say no to such a tiny little thing when she’s been so sick the past week????
@Nicole M. Your two little kittens, Sig and Remi, are the cutest little orange tabbies I have ever seen  You are one lucky mom
@Nicole M. :D I am glad to hear that your little female kitty is ok :D
@Nicole M. :) Could you please tell me which kitty is Sig and which kitty is Remi :)
Sig is the boy and he’s on top, Remi is the girl and she’s on the bottom. The way I’m able to tell them apart which can be hard, is that Sig has bright white around his eyes and larger stripes. Now that Remi has been sick, Sig is twice her size while Remi is still the 1 pound baby! But she’s eating enormously so she’ll catch up to her brother in no time.
@Nichol M :D I am glad to hear that Remi, the girl kitty, has a good appetite :D Sig better be a nice big brother to his little sister :D
