Morning Traffic Report

This is “Cap’n” Blorph Norphman in the C.O. TraffiCopter, and we’re tracking a seven-puppy pile-up on the inbound I-98.6, and that’s causing squee-and-go traffic all the way to the Chewtoy Interchange, so look out for that…

Hate to be a nuffer…’specially on Friday and with such a sweet pic….but those pups seem way to young to be out in the grass like that…the thought of germs harming them makes me a little scared…but as I said…adorable…just a little disconcerning

    LOL!

  20. Scout C says:

To quote Liz Lemon, “I want to go to there!” So many fat little bellies to rub and paw to sniff (puppy toes smell like movie theater popcorn). Heaven on earth!

  21. Elisha B. says:

Sweet puppy pile-up….with warm puppy breath & warm puppy belly smells……ahhhh to be in the middle of the pile-up!

’specially on Friday and with such a sweet pic….but those pups seem way to young to be out in the grass like that’
Well, they were not so young. More than 2 weeks old, and beginning to walk and had opened their eyes.
Also I am not aware of sanitized environments for dogs to give births. Normally, dogs dig part of the earth, they like to be comfortable and in dark places, away from prying eyes. No glove wearing humans allowed near. She would only allow us near and touch her babies when they open their eyes and start exploring.
They grew up to be fine dogs. I still have one of them. Rest with friends I am in touch with.
Their mother Russy has a penchant for giving birth to 7 at time. She’s done that thrice now.

  23. O NO he (she/it) DI-unt says:

    ummmmmmm, Ed’s (NTM, I believe?)

a “sleppy” Tag….MIGHT be in order, here, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

  24. Puppy Pile up and WKRP in Cincinatti shout out all in one sweet post Yay NtmTom

  25. mrsgilmore says:

pfft, nuffers. more importantly, what kind of puppies are they? the speckled nosicles are redonk. make me say, “meep!”

  26. Padfoot_Lives says:

I want to gently scritch the white patch on the back of that little guy second from the bottom!

  27. It’s the “YAWN” that’s keelling meeeee!

  28. mandy_Reeves says:

sorry…they just seemed young….and I misconstrued some veterinary advice my brother was just given about his lab puppeh…about germs and such…so my bad…*bows head*

  29. No one noticed Mickey Mouse lurking near the top of the pic … ? ;)

  30. Rachael says:

Please, my heart can’t take much more of this!

Okay, fine, I’m ded. I’m officially ded.

  31. Katiedid says:

I just imagine people stopping to look at the puppy pile up and going “SQUEEEEEEE!” and then driving away completely normal, like that did NOT just happen…….

  32. Mod-in-Training says:

    [@mandy

awww, that's okay. thanks for having a good sense of humor!]

  33. skippymom says:

pounce, I noticed Mickey Mouse right away!

  34. they are mixed. Their mother Russy is German Shepherd and father Tuffy is a German Spitz. So they come in all shades of white, black and brown.

  35. Katiedid says:

Prakhar Amba- Which one did you keep??

  36. knittinkitten says:

Prakhar-Congratulations! These little guys are too cute. Can’t choose a favourite, they’re just all so adorables. (Never heard puppies couldn’t go out on the grass. Odd.)

  37. I’d totaly rubberneck this accident. What a bunch of cuties.

  38. kibblenibble says:

Yay for the squee-ful scrolldown! Can we please have a COXCU on the puppy yawn? ♥

  39. This is exactly what I’ve been trying to warn you people about! Always space your pups properly – each one should be at least 2 puppy lengths behind the pup in front. You can see the horrific consequences of ignoring the safety rules.

  40. BStrange says:

I see the Scottie silhouette, that is neat!

…bones turning to jelly from cuteness radiation now…

  41. victoreia says:

Good thing I couldn’t see this yesterday….this traffic jam would have killed any chance of my working at all!

  42. victoreia says:

And this pic made The Daily Cute yesterday, as well! (But CO always has better hovertext!)

  43. @Prakhar – Adorable pups! What breed are they?

  44. My bad!!! I missed your last comment, never mind :)

  45. Queen of Dork says:

The breath. I can smell the puppy breath.

  46. Queen of Dork says:
