WOAH…Is that Budgie a teal/purple combo? Perfectly gorgeous! If so, time for me to look into getting one. *LOL* Love that color combo
My Great-Grandmother had a little Budgie when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I was enchanted with it. The more I see little boids like this and the Booby-Bird from yesterday, i’m thinking they are awesome pets.
Hmmmm….I’m torn btw several possibilities….oh heck it’s Saturday I’ll just unpack ALL of ‘em ….
1) ….um, Prongs….not to be cheeky, but ya gotta recomember that here on CO there dwell quite a few librariologist and litterachuwa-type personnages….unless I’m simply missing the clever point (ALWAYS a possibility, mind you …) it seems to me that in my memoire, Orwell’s instrument of ominousness (?) was actually a Big BRUDDER, not actually Big BOID. but I’m generally outside the Clever References Nightclub, so whaddoIknow?
2) So far, no one has made the OBLIGATORY reference to A. Hitchcock’s The Birds. So I will, thusly:
I know it’s not, but I seriously jumped when I saw that bird because it looks JUST like my little newly-hatched (er…last time I saw them, in September, before I moved for a year) baby budgies, Fluffykins and Scrambles! I’ve never seen another ‘keet with that coloration, neato!
All this talk about birds reminds me of this…(because of “when happy little bluebirds sing”). Sorry about all the captions. I don’t know how to make them go away.

My one-liners are all homemade, not store bought. As far as I know, there is no pun factory, but I have been thinking of creating a line of pun-theme clothing. Punderwear, anyone?
Peeps: I have a question and this is so off the subject but PLEASE HELP!. This horrible excuse for a computer that I have currently is not working for me. It’s terrible and doesn’t work correctly most of the time. I won’t put all out on blast what type it is but would love to know what kind you might suggest I buy because this bloody thing must go. What type of computer (brand) do you recommend? Seriously, please help me with this because I’m at a loss.
P.S. – I have to actually completely turn this thing all the way off (like now) between every thing I type or else it gets extremely hot to the touch and then refuses to work at all. AT ALL. So I must sign off for now to let the poor thing cool off as it is already beginning to get too hot to touch. What a rip off no good POS computer I was suckered into buying. I feel like a fool.

Queen of Dork – get thee to an Apple store and buy anything Mac. I have three Macs, including a laptop, and they are so easy to use, they never crash, and no one writes viruses for Macs. LOL!
