Now I know where to send my bananas once they get brown spots on them. Bananas have about a 1-day stretch when they’re actually good… slightly green on the peel. My cats couldn’t care less about bananas, but I’ve seen several online cats that go nuts over them. What is it about nanners?

What I love about the final sequence is that I think Winston is only pretending to sleep. Like he’s giving the hoo-man a chance to do the Right Thing. But NO! Bad hoo-man was just going to sneak away with the banana.
Winston looks llike a Burmese blue, but his meow is high-pitched. 2 of my friends used to have Burmese cross, they both sounded like crying babies…
Winston’s hoomin seems to be a typical cat-owner: He has a fruit bowl, but the fruit lays aside because the bowl is reserved for the cat.

I had the weirdest about this website! This site turned into “Piatown” or something like that and it had a picture of this geeky girl. LOL I don’t know, my memory is foggy.
My cat literally gagged the first time we held up a peeled banana for him to sniff. Now if we put one in front of his nose he squinches up his face and runs away.

Dude, you don’t wear a hammock. You sit in a hammock. And Winston already has a place to sit. Cats always instinctively know the best places to sit. My sister’s Abyssinian preferred high bookshelves.
I think Winston was more upset so see a hand coming towards him that didn’t result in a head scritch than he was about losing a banana….
I think my favorite part of this video is that Win is ALWAYS in the fruit bowl. Without fail. That’s hysterical.

Hey everybody, in other news: Skippy (age 13) had his annual checkup the other day, including about a bajillion different blood tests, and he is completely, perfectly healthy, everything checked out just right. He is just so awesome, if I do say so myself.

I can relate to this. My cat loves bananas so much he’ll wake from a dead sleep and come begging when he hears me me peel one. But that’s nothing compared to his love of cantaloupe.

I’m such a goofball, all last night after the doctor called with his blood results, I kept going up to him and saying things like “How’s my super-healthy boy?” “There’s Mr. Perfectly Healthy!” “Who’s the healthiest kitty in the world?” He didn’t know why I was making such a happy fuss over him, but he certainly was pleased.

@Formica, my kitty also loves bananas. She can scrape off an inch in 30 seconds with her raspy tongue. I also had a kitty that loved canned asparagus. The only thing I didn’t like in this video was that Winston didn’t get to eat any banana. Poor Winston! What a great kitty!

I love that they bought a fruit bowl with the intention of putting fruit in it, but since Winston wants to sleep in there the fruit has to sit on the counter, where it was before the bowl was bought. So really they just bought a counter bed for the cat.
I loove how the cat is in the fruit bowl and the fruit is on the counter.
I recall that rather saucy banana video that Winston starred in recently.

Our Siamese cat’s favorite foods are bananas when they’re still greenish (hates them when they’ve started to go brown!), mangoes, and strawberries. If we actually have the audacity to offer him tuna or salmon from the table, he looks at us like, “What? – you expect me to eat CAT food?…
