Amanda D., please remove your shoes upon entering.
Oh STINKIN’ cute!!!
LOVE the person-clock!
That clock just kills me.
haha, my mum sent me this a few weeks back.
MY OWN MUM!
i’m proud of my mum. and i love this birdie house
It’s the Bird Tardis!
LOL at the worm sausages in the fridge!
I only wish my house looked that good.
A TARDIS disguised as a bird house… what will they think of next?
Terrific video. Thank you for the link.
(TARDIS = Dr. Who)
Who was that in the cuckoo clock? My eyesight is not good.
That bird’s home is way nicer than mine.
It’s bigger on the inside!
OMG I’m so excited for the US premier of the new Dr. Who on Saturday! I’ve refrained from downloading it on the tubes and everything!
Perfect! Except an owl hoot substituted for the pigeon coos-newscaster.
And is that a cuckold clock?
Rofl, that was awesome. Loved the person clock
That was just super cute. Worm sausages? OK I was wondering why a birdie would eat sausage. And the newscaster pigeon goes hoo hoo hoo hoo like an owl. Hee.
HAHAHAHA the newscaster pigeon is informing the public of a CAT AT LARGE beware!
And did you notice the three-toed boots by the front door??
Too cute. Whats even CUTER is that my parakeet is responding to the bird in this commercial from my living room. :->
ROFL is that a fluffy kitteh in the cage on the shelf??
Best. Commericial. EVER!!!
Yeah a friend bird watcher sent me this a couple of weeks ago I had the same reaction TARDIS for birds!
I have a feeling you could watch that video over and over and over, and still see something new every time. I’m about to put that theory to the test.
@Paunchie: The cat wanted poster cracked me up!
Hello, Hello, Hello. LOL!!
Oh that’s just adorable! the qte is in the details….I want to have a job making miniature houses like that for birdies!
Surely that wasn’t a cat’s stuffed head mounted on the wall above the balcony? Was it???
Morjana, TRUST me! I know what you were talking aboot!
I have an old-skool Dr Who nut for a hubby!
I believe the trophy was a rhinoceros beetle, or more specifically, an Atlas Beetle:
PS I just love the sleeping pink nose kissable kitty face in the banner. Sigh. Smooch.
Grossest product (squash juice?!)
Pure genius! The attention to detail is amazing.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, RSPB. Is very strict on the conditions
that birds live in, thats why I can’t afford a bird box, that and the fact my cats would think a new takeaway restaurant had opened.
This commercial is totally awesome!!
That bird’s house is so neat and tidy… haha!
Dub1 ftw!!!! “cuckold clock” – tee hee hee hee hee.
this is the best commercial ever, except that one for the lottery with the little pigs and baby critters in their jammies.
aww thats so sweet. I love eet.
Mouse D’Anon, I believe “squash” is just the word the Brits use for “juice.” I don’t think it’s really made of squash. Heh.
The bird has a better house than I do.
Nice bird, but I bet it isn’t as smart as this bird here that can mimic all kinds of sounds and answer hard questions by humans: http://shortform.tv/w/critters/funny-bird
Too cute for words….. I mean, really!!!
He is reading TWEET magazine!! Brilliant. (HEAT magazine? Get it? Even the logo’s the same.)
Can’t… stop… watching… it!
What a tidy and clever little canary. Love ‘em !
The kitty’s mug shot on the news is hilarious. In fact, everything about this video is fantastic!! Love the details.
Aww, I submitted this as well, like a month ago Very cute though. I particularly like the human cuckoo clock.
In the news crawl, “preening causes feather loss”!
So that’s what a bird house looks like from the inside…
I love this video
.I just clued in to the newscaster being a carrier pigeon … oh, so much genius. I’m sure they’d have cast the homeowner as a bower bird if that had been practical!
@Domanto: There’s a six minute clip of Einstein from TED a few years ago: http://www.ted.com/talks/einstein_the_parrot_talks_and_squawks.html
The clock kills me too, hahah.
ZOMG, the birdie-feet wellies at the door! Too awesome!
Is it possible to slow these things down, instead of just playing it over and over again to pick up all the deeelish details? It reminds me of Pixar’s (is it?) “Flushed Away”, the one where the James Bond mouse gets flushed down the toilet and ends up in the London sewers… you know… singing slugs…. all the detail in the background just waiting to be discovered…..
i like the worms in the fridge
Mouse D’Anon, “squash” is British for a sort of juice concentrate.
This commercial is brilliant.
some people have such great imaginations!
The person clock..’hello….hello…’ *Snort*
@ AunteMame and plousia:
…then, ALL is the qte with the ad! Even the product!!
LOVE EET!!! I want to build a bird house like that! With a camera inside to capture the qte!
“Flushed Away” was Dreamworks not Pixar. and this video was wonderful. perked up a long day of tech rehearsals (any theatre/drama cuteporters out there? )
I want the clock! “Hello”
Oh for god’s sake, that was over the top. Utterly fascinating and really cute.
I loved it!
Cute canary! Looks a bit like mine!
One of my all time favourite adverts!
Must keep up with the Juncoses!
That song those Birdettes are singing…please tell me it’s real?! Have a missed a previous post?
Am I the only one that sees a resemblance to the Brady Bunch living room?
@35: No, squash has almost nothing to do with juice. It’s a fruit-flavoured concentrate with a very long shelf-life which, as far as I know, exists only here in Blighty. Which, all put together, leads me to suspect it’s a hangover from WWII rationing.
In any case, if you’re in Britain and buy this from a shop expecting to get juice, you will be in for a surprise.
It’s less acidic (and usually less sugary) than juice, but also rather blander. The advantage is that you can drink it in much larger amounts than juice, so it’s more of a replacement for water than a replacement for juice.
