as ‘cute’ as it might be, I seeeeriously hate to see people do this to their doggehs…
come to think of it, I do have one (one) exception so far: the blind doggle in my neighborhood gets to go for longer “walks” in the sunshine and fresh air this way.
otherwise, if your pup is in good health/physical condition, let them stretch their legs and get some excersize, people!
Really, tracylee? Chi-chis, by way of their short legs and teensy lungs, generally need less walkies than other larger dogs. I’m sure they got plenty of walking in and I suspect they totally dig their strollers. *I* totally dig their strollers! Plus I would say that any owner who would go to that length, would be sure to give their princes/princesses plenty of exercise.
I <3 the one on the far right who appears to be cracking up (and/or holding her nose) at the rude noise/smell her stroller-mate just made! Also, the boys (?) in the left stroller appear to be wearing shirts!
@ tracylee although on general principals I do agree with you about letting your doggies stretch their little legs and do what dogs are meant to do… there are times when it is not safe for the doggies
When the temperature is over 100 F.and you are walking for long bits of time on concrete and asphault
Their feet and tummies get burned, especially the little dogs pomeranians and chihuahuas and toy terriers and toy poodles etc.
OR when you are on a crowded street….Little dogs are in danger of being crushed.
I am ridiculously amused by the way the dogs on the left are hanging over the edge of their “ride”….assuming they are boys, I am hearing, “heeeeyyyy, chicky-baybeeeee, come over heeere and talk to meeee….”
okay here’s what gets me…why is there a footrest on a doggie stroller? The dogs don’t need it – heck in this case, the little paws can’t touch it. Or is this a convertible buggy…screen in the front when carrying four footed babies, remove the screen in the front, raise the back when carrying bipeds.
Sorry, but I do think there are times when pups are better left at home. I have a grey who can’t go for walks longer than 2 miles and can’t be in extreme temps (hot or cold) and rather than let her suffer, sometimes I just don’t take her with me.
Granted, there’s not a stroller out there she could fit into, but that’s beside the point
These strollers are actually great when you have little dogs and plan to spend the day wandering around a festival or something. They get pretty tired way before you do and this way they can get all the love and attention without getting worn out and mom or dad doesn’t have to carry them around. I think they are just adorable!
How did this cute post turn into a commentroversy? [It didn't, and it won't. Right, y'all? - Ed.]
Also…where are Aidan Quinn, Liam Neeson and that cute blond from Celtic Thunder? Let me know when THEY arrive!! [I could see about getting you a Michael Flatley... - Ed.]
I think the footrests are probably structural, i.e. to keep the legs the proper width apart in front *shrugs*
Also, possibly for tiny bipeds to be able to step up and kiss the pooches! OK, not really.
@ Hon Glad: LOL, you must be Irish to say that re: post #11! I heard the very same expression from another Dublin man when he encountered a plane full of people flying from the US to Dublin for U2′s concerts last summer (and I was one of them….)
Forget the bone-shaped print. There are lil’ pink bows tied to the other stroller. Lil’ pink hair bows, on a dainty lil’ stroller all trimmed in pink, for a couple of special lil’ girlie girls.
Lil’ pink velvet bows. And a heart, for heaven’s sake. A lil’ fuzzy pink heart.
And it’s twoo, they are the two most adorable lil’ girls in the park, I’m sure of it.
I so want to go over to their house and have tea. And cookies, with pink frosting.
Where did ya’ll get those strollers? We just got a maltese-pekinese mix named Chloe and we would love to have the pink one for her. If anybody knows, please e-mail me at junebug017@hotmail.com.
OMG, the b/w in the left-hand stroller looks like a teeny Chihuahua version of a sled dog!

and by no means did I intend to ’nuff (even though after posting I fully realize that is what it looks like.)
sincere apologies, C.O.!
OHMIGAW
oh — SOMEbody already said that, di-unt they??????
Doggie Strollers… Sqweeeeeet!
I think these goggies are waiting to BE in the parade; they are just prolly waiting for Mommee to deck them out wif some green bows and shamrocks……

Mannheim Steamstroller concert
Okay and I love that there is a boy and girl stroller LOLOL
Personally I wouldn’t cross the road to see any of the afore mentioned Oirish contingent. Now The Cheiftans, thats a different story.
Re-DONK-uliss! (I am really jealous that they get to watch a parade today, tho….)
I am ridiculously amused by the way the dogs on the left are hanging over the edge of their “ride”….assuming they are boys, I am hearing, “heeeeyyyy, chicky-baybeeeee, come over heeere and talk to meeee….”
If I thought a pet stroller would get *my* lazy self out of the house and out on walkies, I’d get a pet stroller and take the dog for strolls.
@Padfoot_Lives, well they ARE chihuahuas; Cesar Millan says they are very macho dogs!
lol at padfoot_lives…
this couldn’t be more WRONG!

Ha! Michael Flatley and the Chihuahua’s could do a show: Lord of the Prance
that is the most redonkulous thing ever, omg.
I wonder if they are convertible for biped babies? That’s pretty clever.
@Ed – That’s cause you’re awesome. Guess I just took too long to post. Go ahead and delete my comments. Thanks! : )

@Hon Glad: I would just LURVE to see the Chieftains…..!!!!!
also, the “girl” stroller has pink bows and a pink heart-shaped thingie on the handle.
re DONK.
Cheshirekittehkat – Draws myself up to full hight (2ft 6ins) I have seen the Cheiftans, their standards of musicianship are awesome.
I saw them years ago on St. Patrick’s night with my brother and his annoying friend.
dogs can walk…..why put them in a stroller?
@ Hon Glad: LOL, you must be Irish to say that re: post #11! I heard the very same expression from another Dublin man when he encountered a plane full of people flying from the US to Dublin for U2′s concerts last summer (and I was one of them….)
ahhh the black and tan one is the chihuahua clone of my pom!!!!!!

@Katie, my grandmother used to say “I wouldn’t walk across the street to see him stand on his head and whistle out his @$$.”
Irish, BTW.
PS An Irish Setter won’t thrown beer on you. That’s Yankee fans who will do that.
Ed–Thanks but No Thanks! He’d give me a headache.
Theresa – LOL – Where do you find these things, is there a web site called
http://www.redikerousloonystuff.com?
@Hon Glad, yes, but it is my brain.
Can people stop the complaining and enjoy the cute wittle doggiess?
Good. I thought so =)
What little cuties. I have *no* problem with them hitching a ride now and then – and I bet they love being out and about, seeing stuff and being seen.
IRISH SETTERS WOULD NOT THROW BEER CANS!!! they are far too nice.
I was on a plane with Colin Farrell once.
TUM – I suggest, you don’t share a phone box with him 8″
Doh Flang
Did someone say “black and tan”? Guiness and Bass black and tan, popular beer beverage!
Irish setter don’t be throwin’ those, be drinkin’ em!
That is the most ridiculous / dumbest / pathetic thing I have ever seen on this site. Who puts their dog in a stroller? THEY ARE DOGS!
wow,
Where did ya’ll get those strollers? We just got a maltese-pekinese mix named Chloe and we would love to have the pink one for her. If anybody knows, please e-mail me at junebug017@hotmail.com.
