I love Commissioner Gordon! He busts straight through my I-don’t-really-like-poms stance.

It is possible I also have an internet crush on his daddy.

Actually, he bears an uncanny resemblance to a stuffed toy. Wasn’t sure if it was alive for a few seconds.

  15. ScoutsMom says:

    Is the little pup smiling?

  16. Susanna, I thought the same thing! It’s too cute to be anything real!

  17. resriechan says:

    @ Dragona:

Ever watched any Marx Bros films?????

(“Hooray for Captain Spaulding; the African explorer; did someone call me ‘Schnorrer?’; hooray, hooray, hooray!!!”)

(my apologies to ennyone, for whom a Marx Bros song/ earworm, is a bad thing.)

  18. gryt says:

  23. Theresa says:

Shame! Who gives their family wine coolers? Except Uncle Enrico, who just waters down the wine?

Interrupting the Groucho/Kermit the Frog earworm to ask – how did Gordon get commissioned? and what IS his commission? or what did he commit?

  28. Looks like a Folkmanis hand puppet…… ( Kiddies: Storybook Hour will begin in fifteen minutes…. just sit on the floor cross-legged around the little stage…but leave the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at home: they’re too messy……!)

  33. Stressfactor says:

Being a comic book geekess I am completely unable to consolidate image of soft, plushie, adorable dog with white-haired, gruff, pipe smoking commisioner of police of crime riddled Gotham City and friend and confidant of Batman. Simply does not compute.

Now if they had named him Ace the Bathound….. nah… that wouldn’t have worked either.

Pup is simply too prosh for Gotham City.

  34. Tindi says:

    “HALP”

  35. Lilitu says:

Stressfactor, that is precisely why they decided on the name: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2009/12/11/commissioner-james-gordon-one-of-countrys-cutest-dogs/

    Gotham City needs more proshness.

  36. CatViccer says:

LOL Hovertext! ONLY grammas and great aunties carry around necco wafers in their pocketbooks!

  37. Elise says:

Awww…I actually have a Grandpa Fred!

  38. Samantha says:

I love the Commissioner! I sent in a few photos when he was in the Cutest Dog Competition but this is far cuter than any of them.

  39. Teresa says:

 Someone is going to get their shoes PEED on for this

  40. kibblenibble says:

gryt, you could do worse than a pom, easily. I’ve never had one, but many of my relatives have had them. They are real sweethearts. There are rescue organizations just for poms, a great way to adopt one! ♥

  41. melissadesa says:

I’m sorry, but to me, that reminded me of good ol’ Hey-Soos!

  42. Marie says:

    Funny!

  43. little squirrel says:

I have seen the Commish in real life! He IS too cute to be believed! He was also in a head-cone at the time, and having trouble with his kibble.
