And Now, Munchkin the Magnificent

“For my next mystifying illusion, I shall require this ordinary length of rope, and a volunteer from the audience.  If this volunteer were to have, say, some bacon, or a handful of kibble, I shall astound you further by making it disappear.”

Magically cute, Amy L.

  3. prinbsn says:

somehow I feel an intense need to get out my tiny scissors and go to work on the tufts of hair obscuring those beady little eyes!

  4. Suzanne says:

O-M-G. That’s it…I can’t work anymore today. Munchkin has made my brain disappear and replaced it with a soft pile of mush that just wants to beep her(?) nose.

I was thinking of pointing out a spelling error in the title but then I saw what you did.

[No, that's just a plain old spelling error, and thank you for catching it. -- Mike]

A being with magic powers such as these has no need of the physical sense of “vision” as we mere mortals know it. The eyes, in Munchkin’s case, are simply accessories to the Cuteness. Extreme eye-floof is no obstacle, for the great and powerful Munchkin SEES on a mystical, profound level. And he sees into your SOUL.

  12. marthava says:

what kind of doggly is this?

  13. Metz says:

What I want to know is, how do you do that trick where you make your body disappear?
OH! I know! It’s the Face of Boe’s pet puppeh.

  19. Metz says:

(playing off of Ink’s suggestion above)
“When I said ‘HELP I’m sinking in quicksand, throw me a rope!’, I didn’t mean the WHOLE rope!”

This magic trick interrupted due to lack of limbs on which to use the rope… I don’t ever think I’ve seen a pupster sitting like a kitteh with the front legs curled under!!!…

He looks like an ormanent, erm, ornament.

  37. Joy says:

You know, I went to a shoe store today, and saw the cutest little puppy ever. He/she looked like this Munckin but was all white. Still cannot get the image of that darn cute as a button puppy out of my mind. So small, maybe a foot long or less but pure cuteness!

  38. nismo says:

I concur with A K Strong. Get in my mouf puppy!

  39. Kate says:

This reminds me of one of those dogs my great uncle and aunt used to own-I never knew how does with so much hair around their eyes could see, either.

Death by cuteness. Little dude OWNS my soul.

  43. Rachael says:

The sleight of paw is breathtaking… especially as it’s all done without paws.

My 4 pound chihuahua, The Divine Miss Lily, sits that like. She nestles in the slight crevice between two couch cushions and tucks her legs under her. Makes it look like the couch is slowly eating her up. And we all know that’s MY job. <3

  44. Blondie says:

    Mini Ewok.

  45. doggabone says:

The real magic trick is that pup is rising up through the floor – only as far as the shoulders so far, but he’ll be standing on the carpet like a little Rory Calhoun in a moment.

  46. T.U.M. says:

    IS NOT PUPPEH IS SLIPPER

  51. Kristy says:

We had a Llasa Apso that looked just like this when he was little. Not sure if it’s a Llasa or not, but it’s very cute.

  52. suzanne says:

So haunted by cuteness, this puppeh was in my DREAMS last night! Wanna squeeze on it!

  53. Amy L says:

Thanks all for to Munchkin lovin’

Our little girl is a shih-zhu-Maltese mix and we love her to death….not sure how i caught her sitting still with all her paws tucked under her….but she is definitely TROUBLE (and a true munchkin….she’ll eat anything!) about 2 seconds after the picture was taken she was dragging that red rope ball around like a mad dog!

  54. Joanie says:

  57. dry says:

Can we make a request and ask that, in general, where possible, you tell us what breed it is? I feel bewildered when I get emotional over something I don’t know how to categorise. Maybe ask it in the submish process or something…
