@emily … cute in theory, not so cute in reality when they grow up. Besides, they are meant to be free … it would be wrong to allow the general public to keep animals they don’t know how to care for and would have no way to provide for (which is why there are laws banning such a thing). I say, let’s just appreicate them for the magnificent creatures they are and let them have their own lives.

Re-recorded twice in 1965, the new version became a camp classic in many U.S. and foreign cities. So…very…dark…

It was also “recently used as the theme for a bread commercial in Germany.”

The song would be okay if not for the whuh, whuh, whuhhhs. What is that about??!

Although, if I imagine myself snorgling a tiger cub, I guess I can see it….

@ whiskers: BTW, and apropos of nothing, cheetahs purr. Saw that on on Animal Planet, and if they say so, it must be true, right?

Apropos of Harris: he made a pretty good Dumbledore… Never got the gist of the sweet green icing melting in the rain… Used to wonder WTH with Macarthur Park altogether.

That said, *grabby hands* I think I hear my mother calling. *Scoops up bebeh tiger and runs off to hide in the jungle*
