‘Ello! My name is Fabio, and you-a must-a try-a my mar-i-nara!
OK, I’m sorry. I admit, I’m not Italian. And my name isn’t even Fabio. It’s Ken. Ken, as in, “Wake me when you’re done saying ‘Ken’.” I just wanted you to think I was exotic.

Oh, Grandpa Munster, wishes he were soo cute! *snugs koala*

Bellisimo! (whatever that means…)
Ken, those are some fuzzy knees you got, fair dinkum.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
260O.. I too noticed the knee hair…which looks like fleece, not animal fur.
Wonder if he “pills”.
Wotta sweetie!
I wonder what that paw smells like in the first pic.
He looks like a little boiled wool jacket I once had. <3
HunnyBear: doan you go wurrying bowt being exotik: you alreddy are!!!
The general fooziness of his earses, his liddol white bib, his knees, his pawsies,(come to think ovvit, awl of the rest of him, just guarantees total huggability and adorabuhlniss)……. *runs down the street to the travel agency to arrange the earliest possible passage to Oystrailia*
I think this koala is the best. Those fuzzes everywhere! The ear floofs!
I need a koala to snuggle with to help my stuffy nose they smell of eucalyptus and they’re so much more fun than Vicks Vapo rub.
He looks like the hook-side of velcro would stick to him. Not that I would try that, ever. I am a big lover of fuzzy ears (single men out there, take note).
Grandpa Munster – inspired, Prongs, inspired. If I had been drinking Earl Grey tea, I would have spurted it through my nose onto my keyboard (but since I’m not, I didn’t).
I have also just realised that I have NEVER before seen a koala’s knees. Can we now have a C.O.X.C.K.C.U. (Cute Overload Extremely Cute Kneesies Close Up)?
These pics make me realize that koalas look like they’ve been felted from shaggy wool.
Why does a Brillo Pad come to mind??? I’d still like to snorgle him/her 4ever.
I dunno – that first pic looks like he got caught farting.
ButtaRumCake
First photo is Koala considering if photo is just too cute, not wanting to over work CO angles of mercy QoD and Res
the little pink splotches on the inside of the nosicle <3
EEEK!
It’s the fie-mous mahsupial, the koala beah. Obsuhve the stinkin’ dinkum cuteness of this cuddly bugger. Divastating.
You had me at mar-i-nara.
I like his knees in the 2nd pic…and he totally knows he’s cute. totally.
in the first pic, he’s smelling his fingers. like, “hm. garlicky.”
He doesn’t need a trench coat to win my luv–he’s already got it!
The smile in 2nd pic, and those eyes……swoon ….. that is look of LOVE!!!!!
I could stand to look at that face everyday
@ Dewicasgwent: “angles of mercy”…..i love it….you wouldn’t be calling QoD and Resreichan OBTUSE, would you??
@ theresa: your aussie accent is SPOT-ON!!!!
awwwwww… ko-wa-wa bear! *beep! beep* (one for each pic) and hugs! …. prongs, grandpa munster indeed!! love it!
I love both pics expressions
OMG for once I have “THE” punchline!!!! And no one else has already said it (‘tho Scoutsmom came closest to beating me, to it) …..
“You ‘ad me, at ” ‘ello” !”
(giggle/ snerk/snort/ teehee)
(giggle)
(in re #29: Kindof an unnecessary “Debbie Downer” moment there……, Editorz? Please note both the “comment” AND the “screenname???”)
(awkward; ewwwwwww)
@Aquamarine, ta?
I niglictid to imploy the high-rising tones?
(for those reading now that an item was removed ….there WAS a different #29 which was …………………….supremely ICKY and not even trying to be humorous & ref. to a sexually transmitted disease with no relevance to the Koala Bear.
Our Illustrious Editors have graciously & quickly “sacked” THAT # 29…..so my #30 now seems to indicate that my #29 is peculiar….ANYway …….
The icky thing is gone. Thanyeverrrmuch.)

the linky-winky is on the blinky
(gives a 401 error dude)
*cough* make that a 404 error
[OK, I think I've fixed it now... - Ed.]
Grandpa Munster? Possibly.
I think, however, that this koala uses the same hairstylist as Larry Fine:

Ken, as in, “Wake me when you’re done saying ‘Ken’.”
Ok THAT’S funny. I don’t understand it, but it’s funny.
OMG such a gentle expression.
My first teddy bear that I remember picking out myself was a GUND koala bear. It is so comforting… I still have it. It’s probably 30 years old now. Makes me wand to take this little guy, put him under my arm and snooze.
P.S. BEEP!
Oh, the gentle floofiness…can almost hear that little-kid heavy breathing…
*Must touch paw…*
PS: BEEP!
Ok, if this little guy were to hold up a boombox wearing a trench coat, I would be at his total mercy. But only if In Your Eyes is playing. And his name is Lloyd Dobbler. I’m just sayin’.
I think in the first photo ‘Ken’ looks as if he is covering up a burp, maybe after eating a too-biggish bowl of eucalyptus leaves. Good manners and adorable. What an irresistable combination. And look at those knees. I would love to hold him on my lap and rub his fuzzy little knees in circles with my palms. I could test to see if he “pills” or not! Maybe Ken would even let me blow gently on his ears to watch all those fuzzy little hairs wave around. What a cutie.
Prongs – Grandpa Munster = perfect.
resriechan – Hi. Thanks for your support the other day. You are a good ambassador
for the site. A tad cryptic at times (see above), but always nice and
very amusing.
@ Pipsqueek —
Hi, back! You’re welcome ! Thanks for the groovy vibes ! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving or Thursday & holiday weekend.
Peace.
OMG. So. Precious.
Aquamarine
I could claim it was a pun on acute angles, but in reality it’s my lousey spelling and typing
*plants kiss on forehead*
*kisses nose*
sigh!
He has a very interesting nose
The eyes are so adorable! and the ears and the innocent expression….I bet he gets away with everything!
I am in LOVE!!!!!!!!
Koalas are my FAAAAAAAAAVORITE.
“…and see if he pills”–oh, snerkity-snerkity, snerk-snerk! from one knitter to another, eh? He does already look felted-I wonder who tried to dry him in the dryer? Idiot. “…and see if he pills”–oh, snerkity-snerkity, snerk-snerk! “…and see if he pills”–oh, snerkity-snerkity, snerk-snerk!
Koalas are NOT bears.
[Tru dat. - Ed.]
And resriechan, while I missed the comment, koalas are severely threatened by an STD
[OK OK, yeah, koalas are in fact susceptible to chlamydia, and it's a real problem. What it isn't is Cute Overload material, knowutImsayin? - Ed.]
That is an amazing little animal.
I think it looks like he’s about to say “MWAH! Delicioso!” in the first photo. Or if he were French, “MWAH! c’est parfait!”
aww so cute!
Zomg the the Ed’s on to me.
“no relevance to the Koala Bear” Just trying to educate people. You’re right, it isn’t cuteoverload material.
Thanks for not deleting me, MWAH!
He looks more like a “Giles”, or a “Winston”, than a “Ken”……justsayin’.
Victoreia: HEY !!! THAT’s a GREAT name to match this guy.
Here’s a stamped envelope; let’s write to Connor R (is that the human companion of this guy or just the photog?) & suggest the namechange!! I’ll sign it with you!!
