I have them sign the anti-theft clause but they realize how much they are needed so they sign it and then laugh at me as the make off with the shiny things.

Bertha and I are doing fine in our new place, though we are lonely.
I’m trying to talk her into getting a new kitteh (coff marmie coff) in the Spring, so she’ll have company when I leave her alone for a few days on my journeys back to California (or elsewhere). With my teaching schedule (I have four classes and almost 200 students – and no TA!) it’s been hard for me to make friends, but I’m enjoying my work a lot.

I once had a Siamese cat who I did this kind of thing with as a kitten, and sadly, it scarred the poor puddin’ tat for life. Anytime a human happened to extend a hand anywhere near it’s head it went totally and utterly mental freakazoid and ATTACKED! So cute as this is, it might not be the best socialization for the kitteh.

When I saw that coochie coochie kitty was going to be on Ellen, I had to DVR the episode, so I could watch overandoverandoverandover on the big screen.
