I liked the melancholy music playing softly in the background as they both partake of what their human feeds them. Winston’s nose dive into the container when he could tell “munchie” time was over was priceless. Can you say, “that boy needs a facie washie now!”

[Winnie has (or had) a host of health problems, which is probably why he was in the shelter when Rich adopted him. He is VERY well cared for, these days - Ed.]

Hey, my previous kitty used to do this too, stick his whole face in my yogurt cups. He loved yogurt, especially blueberry flavored. He did get a mini ring around his snout once, but not all over his face. The disadvantage of a pushed in face I guess.

Yeah, that’s yogurt time at my house! Except when it’s “Mommy-flavor” (a.k.a. chocolate)–then I get pinned with two pairs of laser eyes.
My house-bunny Finn does this when i have an applesauce treat. He gets one whiff of it and makes a beeline for me, then climbs all over me and gets all up in my face trying to get a tasty leeeck.
My fur-kids had turkey giblets and boiled sweet potatoes for their Thanksgiving feast, and I MUST say, even my little heathens were FAR better behaved than Winston!
But…you know what? I love Winnie anyway. His gluttony is a large part of his charm.
@ Katt I sooooooo thought the same thing !!!! My “kids” like yogurt too but I only allow all six to clean the container after I finish what doesn’t stick to the sides.
(maybe a tablespoon max) too much dairy does NOT sit well in kitty innards.
Not to mention we ALL HATE when there needs to be a “clean up on isle 3.”

On second watch I do think that’s cottage cheese- but almost every cat I have known has LOVED yogurt. It’s the best dairy to give to a cat, as the lactose is mostly gone from it so they can digest it. In the summer I eat plain (unsweetened) yogurt and granola for breakfast and let my cats lick the bowl clean after. They are no worse for wear because of it.
A former roommate of mine used to make smoothies a lot with yogurt and protein powder and fruit and her cats would watch and wait for her to give them the dregs from the blender.

My beloved rabbit used to go crazy for peach ice cream. When the carton was finished, we’d put it on the floor, and he’d dive in, usually getting the carton stuck on his head. He’d lick it clean. Near the end of his life, we’d feed it to him from a spoon. I miss you, little guy.
