I’m late, but so thankful for Kirk my big moose-boy and Sato my sugar girl. Whatever they’re mixed with, they’re still my best friends. I’m thankful for turkey and for stuffing and baked sweet potatoes with curry mayo [it's delicious, try it].

Emmberrann and saintstryfe: Man, I so totally hate when anybody is sad. I really mean it. I feel it. I sincerely wish that everything was great for everybody but of course this is Earth, not Heaven. I myself have been through such horrors, including homelessness that caused me to have to send my daughter away to live with my aunt across the country because I couldn’t have her suffer on the street with me, a beating that caused hospitalization (which I’m still paying the bill for although this was six years ago) and many other horrible things. I’m just saying this because at the time, I thought, well this is it for me. This is how my life just is. But things turned around and got better. I worked at a horrible job for a year in order to make enough money in 2004 to go and get my daughter back. I hated every day at that job but I did it. Things have progressed steadily. Life isn’t as difficult anymore. I’m absolutely sure that circumstances will improve for you! I’m sure of it and will be thinking positive thoughts about you two even though I don’t even know you.

@saintstryfe: I’m fighting depression with you and sending you healing vibes. No work here since March. Thank heaven for unemployment compensation! Just trying to keep my head above water, and not feeling real good about myself just now. Even my temp agency has suggested I work with “other agencies.” And I shouldn’t take it personal? Puh-leeeze!
If it weren’t for CO, and my beloved aged (19) Picky-pants Cat, who makes me smile every day, I’d be in real trouble. Thanks, guys, for helping me hold on, however shakily, to what sanity I may have left!
