Frankly, I don’t get the appeal. They just sit there in a boat, dangling a piece of string in the water. They say it’s relaxing and all, but I don’t wanna relax! I wanna run, jump around — you know, dog stuff — but instead I’m stuck here staring at this water for hours. And I haven’t even seen one fish. Not. One. Fish.
And to top it all off, my tail hurts for some reason.

The concert was the best yet! The young musicians were wonderful, the church setting worked out fabulously, the reception was great! “Amazing Grace” on the saxophone was wonderful, we had four more musicians do solos and a duet, a great audience larger than usual and if anyone connected with the Central Connecticut Civic Youth Orchestra is reading this, I am very, very proud of you!
And now, back to you, NOMTOM!

Doesn’t necessarily have to be a mix. My lab has white shoulder stripes just like that, though this one does seem to lack the typical barrel chest and fat bearbutt.

No collar or tags for the doggie? That’s somewhat unsettling.
After going to cuteoverload for the past couple of years I have learned something. No matter how cute, cuddy, funny, or awwww-inspiring a picture can be, there will always be at least one person that will find something wrong with a picture. Something that you would not even think to look for in a picture that is supposed to make you feel a little less stressed. Without even knowing the back story, or all the facts, people base their opinion or comment on a single picture and can ruin it for so many more. That picture you took of Whiskers next to the goldfish bowl, “oh no! He could eat those fish and then choke on them and die!” The photo of your dogs puppies sleeping all cuddled up together, “Where is the momma dog, don’t you know puppies should never be left alone, even for a second!” Come on people, enjoy the picture for what it is. A PICTURE!
I’m amazed that the dog is actually DRY! Usually a dog that comfy by the water is sopping wet and loving it.

yes, Katiedid, there are always those folks will find something to complain about. Doggie is in the middle of the lake enjoying him/herself with his loving doggie parents keeping watch. Every dog should be so “mistreated” as to be able to enjoy a day on the lake without the annoying collar! I’m going to go home, take the collars off BOTH of my dogs and give ‘em a good neck rub! They deserve it.
