Cute Overload :D
It was the house that buns built. They called it Hoppy Times Plantation, and what a misnomer that was. Don’t be fooled. You are not welcome here.
It was built on disapproval, Tuesday H.
I need a rendering of this evil-doer, Mint Julep. We all need to be on the lookout!
I hear a banjo …
Such lazy disapproval!
This is just about THE cutest thing I have EVER seen!!!!
That house, that barn in the back, coupled with the “country bu(n)mpkins”…it’s all too wonderfully overwhelming for words!!!
I think I saw this place on “Curb Appeal” last week.
Now I can’t stop hearing Jefferson AirBun singing “We built this hovel on DIS-A-PROVAL!”
Somebunny loves their (lounging) bun-buns! Oh, a day in the life. I like to think I love my pets, but they mostly have store-bought homes.
Definitely can’t let my feline overlords see that….they’re spoiled enough as it is!
Looks like the setting for a bunny rendition of Chainsaw Massacre.
Yikes! I can NOT let my two little bunnies see this spectacular cottage! They would disapprove of me even more than usual!! (But it IS seriously cute and mighty impressive…)
House of the Rising Bun!
My own house doesn’t have a porch or a chimney/fireplace! I wonder if these buns would let me move in, just for a little while…
@Victoreia: I’m not letting my cats see this either!
I think I see somebun whittling a carrot and yelling at youngbuns to get off their lawn.
Oh wow, that is just so awesome… my bunny will be demanding an upgrade from his cardboard box condo now.
The Beverly Hillbunnies?
That is SO sweet:D
They all look like they’ve gotten into the moonshine. Repeatedly.
Ridiculous. I bet there’s heated beds in those little bunrooms.
Rachael beat me to it. If those bunnies don’t have a moonshine still behind that house… wa-a-al, they-at jes’ ain’t raht, Betty-Bob.
(picking up the ball from MadameX)
Let me tell ya all a story of a bun named Jed,
Short, puffy tail, floppy ears upon his head…
There are curtains! And do I spies me some mini hay bales in the mow of that thar’ red barn? LAWDS.
Looks like the house in Deliverance. All that is missing is the bunny with a banjo.
reminds me of the sheriff’s housebuilding skills from Unforgiven
Then one day he was a-restin’ on his porch,
When the ground a-started shackin’ from a squealin’ bunch.
CO’s that is, the whole faintin’ horde.
Can we please get a COXDCU (Cute Overlord Extreme Disapproval Close Up)?? Pretty please, with disapproval on top??
Er, Overload, of course …
If I had a yard that would be in it.
Uh, Correcting the previous post (which, of course, is intended as a follow up to the inimitable NTMTOM’s)
Then one day he was a-restin’ on his porch,
When the ground a-started shakin’ from a squealin’ bunch.
CO’s they was, the whole faintin’ horde.
The buns must be hung over from the hoe-down last night in the barn.
Did I just see Uncle Jessie drive by in the General Lee? Cooter? Whaaat…?
One question, Mr. NTM —
What is the proposed Annual % Rate on the ReFi Mortgage for this property??
where, oh where, please tell us where these buildings are! is this a rescue? sanctuary? someone’s back yard? do they have a whole photo stream? i wanna see more of these adorable buns & their digs :)
@rabble – Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm:
Oh no, my bunnies say that their Maze Haven sucks and I need to build them one of these! Evidently, they also want to lounge disapprovingly on the front porch.
They’ll have that place nibbled to a nub in no time.
Oh my GARSH that is cute!
I love that they have all this room, and yet they’re still smooshed together on the front porch!
I see Tiffany, Heather,Heather and Cody, but where are Dylan, Dermot, Jacob, Jordan, Taylor, Brittany, Wesley, Rumer, Scout, Cassidy, Zoe, Chloe, Max, Hunter, Kendall, Caitlin, Noah, Sasha, Morgan, Kyra, Ian, Lauren, Qbert, and Phil?
OMG there’s alot of snorgling opportunities for me right there, bunny ‘tocks are nom nom delicious !! Huge kisses and cuddles to the disapproving bunch !
LOLOLOL @ Madame X and NTMTOM! Youse guys are geniouses. Ktchyuk yuk.
and on the front lawn, there is a wheel-less car up on bricks.
Volkswagon Rabbit natch….
(you knew that was coming right?)
They’re all lying there, disapproving of how long it is taking someone else to fix those holes in the roof and get the glass installed. Probably expecting lunch and supper to be served to them out on the porch, where it’s cooler.
Yeah, the house and the buns are cute and all, but my favourite thing about this post is that the sender-inner’s name is Tuesday. TUESDAY! Seriously?! I love it.
Well, the first thing you know, old Jed’s in the clover
Kin folk said, Jed, move away from Rover
Said, Californy is the place you oughta be
So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly
Hills, that is, moons clover, pink hearts, stars
You should check out ‘Edinburrow’ at Mossburn in Scotland.
It’s a rescue centre that invites at-risk and vulnerable young people to come spend time with the animals. Juanita, the woman who runs it, is a force of nature.
There is no calm in the world like gently stroking a rabbit until it goes all limp and melts into the floor. (p.s.-I miss you, Francis. Hope you got enough bananas and cheerios while you were with us.)
That is brilliant! It looks really well made. Does hold household to call four bunnies? You should add an extension on, a garage or something as well!
which one plays the banjo?
Got a bit of cold today seeing those wabbits has cheered me up :)
@Jezebel – is that the episode where they all get pretzels?
…and it’s been the ruin of many a poor bun, and God, I know, I’m one! Wouldn’t it be fun to be the size to fit in there, for like 10 minutes? Stretching up to reach the top of the bunnies’ ears?
What, no rocking chair? No wonder they disapprove!
You got it Ding!
Jezebel-Please, what does “ding” mean – as in the ding of a winner’s bell, perhaps?
Everyone needs a house they can chew on.
Hare….home home on the range where seldom is heard a discouraging word…Recken we should do somethin today….nahh! Now back to sleep.
Could be a saloon and they are sleepin it off!
@ katrina – ding is commenter #52 that jezebel was responding to. =) clever, eh?
for some reason i still come back to this post. the bunneh house is so cool!
Harry, I told you not to rent to college students!
That is at Bengston Farms Pumpkin Patch in Homer Glen, IL. I remember seeing these buns this year!
My God, if it were in front of anybody but you guys I would die in shame. SORRY Ding! Thank you, Caligirl. Sheesh.
I’m having trouble locating the rabbit house at the site mentioned. How do I find it again? Sorry!
Somehow, the tune “Dueling Banjos” seems apropos here….
I Absolutely need the plans to build something like this in my backyard:)
