Wait–I interpreted the Cute and Not Cute descriptions as both referring to this same picture. That is, it’s cute if it’s anteater true love. It’s not cute if the anteaters are actually stuck together because the Siamese cats (not shown) were messing with the glue and they stuck the anteaters together. Mike?

Theresa, you’re right, now that I think about it. Siamese are certainly among the most docile and quietest of felines. No way they would ever get up to such mischief.

Where on earth do people aquire animals such as anteaters for pets? I’ve wondered this with a lot of animals I see on this sight…hedgehogs, for example. These aren’t things you pick up at your local pet store.
@Nikki, you can see I got it wrong at first. You type a colon (:), no space, the word “roll” (no quotes, no space), then another colon.
skippymom.. yes.. my beautiful Siamese Maximum (yes.. his name is Maximum.. or Maximosis or Maxilicious..or.. well.. you get the idea) is sooo quiet and we hardly know he’s around.. NOT.
And.. to all that didn’t *get* the siamese part until much much later.. I’m in that boat right along with you. DUH.

@Brenda For hedgehogs, depends on the pet store. One of my friends got a hedgehog a couple years ago from a pet store, don’t remember what one though. It was a more local chain, not a national chain. As for anteaters… I’d like to know where to get one of those, too!
This is the “mirroring” technique. “You do what I do” and then you lean closer and smooch.
@Meezer fans, I am acquainted with a woman who found a Siamese kitten IN HER BASEMENT. He just followed the other cats in through the cat door. He stayed because she never found an owner. WHO lets their meezer kittens just walk through other people’s cat doors, and why don’t I live near them?

If I remember right tamaduagirl’s family is connected somehow to a rescute organization. I read her story a couple years ago.
