She’s not smiling because she has had to hold her arm in exactly that position so that baby could sleep. One iota up or down, and kitty would be disturbed. Must not disturb kitty!

She’s setting a dangerous precedent here. Pretty soon, that kitty is going to want to be on her shoulder all day. Like the orange Persian that is currently sitting on my shoulder. And it’s hot out!
