@chanpon: There’s been an uptick in squirlios in general. I swear I’ve never seen so many of the little dewds running all over the place. They’ve been yelling at me whenever I walk past the oak tree right by my walkway.

Ahn. He reminds me of a litter of baby Least Chipmunks I helped to rehab once, except they were even tinier. Also very active and squirmy, as this one seems to be.

I was feeding bebeh red squirrels last week last week at the wildlife rehab center, and got all scratched up on my neck and chest when one decided it was fun to run all over me. Kind of embarrasing to go to work the next day – looked like I had a crazy time in the sack. (Or is that just me?)
Er “last week” does not equal “last week last week.” I think I’ve had a tad too much coffee this a.m.
