  7. 260Oakley says:

Brown Squirrel beats Blue Tooth any day. Though people will look just as nuts talking into one…

  8. WendyPinNJ says:

    A perfect bite-sized morsel!

  9. chanpon says:

Why the sudden uptick in miniscule squirlios lately? Not that I’m complaining, since they are totally adorable.

  10. its says our but it should be out

  11. Pussytoes says:

You do realize it says “pulled from OUR behind”. That would indeed be painful.

  12. Look at his tiny left hand. Is he giving us the (very tiny) finger???

  13. pulls from our behind, your ear

  14. (That should have been in a George Costanza voice)

  15. PPS Does “our behind” mean we all have one behind, and how come I never noticed this?

  16. hon glad says:

Place in mouth to cure nut allergy.

  17. Best. Earring style. Ever.

  18. @chanpon: There’s been an uptick in squirlios in general. I swear I’ve never seen so many of the little dewds running all over the place. They’ve been yelling at me whenever I walk past the oak tree right by my walkway.

  19. Oh, my. You’re no bigger than that guy’s thumb.

  20. Mud Bug says:

I’d like a six pack of squirrel sliders to go please !

  21. chlorisaann says:

did anyone notice that he is flipping us off???? check the squirrel hand, on the human thumb!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Not That Mike The Other Mike says:

Hmmph. My grandpa never found any cute squirrels behind MY ear. All I ever got was a quarter. 😦

  23. NTMTOM, at least he didn’t want you to pull his finger. WHICH THIS LITTLE GUY IS GIVNG US, I TELL YOU!!

  24. BabyOpossum says:

Ahn. He reminds me of a litter of baby Least Chipmunks I helped to rehab once, except they were even tinier. Also very active and squirmy, as this one seems to be.

Between this guy and my unbearably prosh eponym on the CO calendar, today has started out with a nice contented sigh. Thanks, CO!

  26. kibblenibble says:

  28. kibblenibble says:

PPS Privacy tailio! Okay, I’ll stop, now. *slinks away*

  29. [headsmack]

OK, I finally spotted the typo that everybody’s been snerking about. Fixted.

  30. refrains from making squirrel nuggets joke.

    goes with squirrel truffel instead!

  31. OMG I want one! Is it even safe to hold it when it’s so tiny? Why can’t I have that job?!

  32. charliewabba says:

I think instead of barfing rainbows, we should all henceforth sneeze out baby squirrels.

  33. Katiedid says:

“put me down mofo I need to go find some milkes!”

  34. DaytimeDeb says:

    Snack-sized morsel. But I can’t stop at just one….

  35. Theo, after fixing the (very funny) typo, you need to add some hover text now. We’re waiting…

[Uh, Meg already did the hover… – Ed.]

  36. Kristabelle says:

Perhaps the hovertext should say, “They’re like potato chips – you can’t have JUST ONE!”

  37. hf080677 says:

I love how someone on here is always popping something in their mouth and running off with it… I go for the plain ol’ snatch and dash myself, san mouth.

  38. Just kidding (natch) says:

Oh noes.. it says she plucked him .. hope he’s not going into the broth next! 😦

  39. Katiedid says:

I was looking at the other photos with this little guy and found the best!!!

  40. It’s like a real, live Beatrix Potter character.

  41. Skwerrlio: the ultimate Pokket Pet; when hims gets tired of riding around in your pokket, will take a liddol nappee behind your ear; (can also be utilized in lieu of a head-set……. 😉

  43. berthaservant says:

    Wait a minute, I’ve got it….it’s a nut-sized squirrel, right?

  44. Berthaservant– YES!!!

  45. fish eye no miko says:

  54. bunnywabbit says:

Again, with the long center digit. What’s that about?

  55. zeldapie says:

Tee hee! What a cuteum pie.

I was feeding bebeh red squirrels last week last week at the wildlife rehab center, and got all scratched up on my neck and chest when one decided it was fun to run all over me. Kind of embarrasing to go to work the next day – looked like I had a crazy time in the sack. (Or is that just me?)

  56. zeldapie says:

Er “last week” does not equal “last week last week.” I think I’ve had a tad too much coffee this a.m.

  57. squiggle!

  58. Oh. My. God. that is the cutest thing ever

  59. Carlisa says:
