Cute Overload :D
Now, in digital 3-D…
THIS KITTAYN! [Floats by on balloon strings]
Another brillo submishe from Nicole G. friend of the Empty Cage Collective.
I’m saaaailing away
He does look like he’s struggling to stay grounded!
Lookit! A creamsicle kitteh just floated past the window! *reaches out to cradle kitteh and gently removes balloons*
I beewieeeve I can fwy…. I bewieeve I can touch the sky…
“Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon…” Does any one remember which group is famous for that song? I believe the group consisted of Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, jr.
This little guy is up for adoption in Bushwick, NY! Post here if you live in NY and are interested! See the hovertext for more info.
what a cute-heart! and I LOVE that you’re posting adoption info for this little friend.
@gatita bonita: The Carpenters. I’ll never forget that one–I couldn’t get it out of my head after one of my more intense surgeries. It was a pretty psychedelic week that week…
All the cute boys live in Bushwick.
Oh, I’ll believe this pic…
WHEN CATS FLY!!
***goes to look out window***
Don’t see that kitteh yet!!!
@gatita bonita and Niki…
It’s the 5th Dimension. Not the Carpenters.
My little sister was a FREAK aboot who sang what and I used to quiz her on stuff like this. She aced it every time.
Aw… I hope he gets adopted soon!
If I wasn’t in another country… C’mon people, adopt him!
Kitty’s escape plan fails to get off the ground.
Oh oh oh! :O
I love me some creamsicle kitti.
Oh, I would love to adopt this little guy! Unfortunately there’s the small matter of the Atlantic Ocean between us. Somebody take this “total love monkey” (see hovertext) home and snorgle him!
There is no place like home There is no place like home Kitty clicks hels together three times and flies to forever home
Kittayn looks all sad! Like “It not workingks!”
If I could bring this cute lil kitty across the Pacific….if those teeny balloons could only carry him here.
awww this reminded me immediately of wheely willy (the poor little chihuahua couldn’t use his back legs so one of the things his owner tried was tying balloons to his back – but now he has a wheelchair and super cute outfits: http://www.wheelywilly.com/
oh PS – if you go to the “children only” section you can “dress” willy up in his outfits – you see pics of the different outfits
Aw, if you were in the UK, little vanilla kitteh, you could come live with me!
I wish that I could fly; into the sky
So very high; just like a dragonfly
I’d fly above the trees; over the seas in all degrees!
To anywhere I please!
Oh I want to get away!!!! I want to fffffllllllllyyyyyy away!
Yeah yeah yeah.
Awwww, he looks just like my Mom’s kitty (except he is the furthest thing from a total love monkey there is).
@kat – I knew people in the CH cat community who trained their CH kittens to walk by slinging a nylon stocking under kitteh’s belleh to hold him up while he got his legs going.
Add one more balloon and I do believe that this little kitty will be airborne! Sail my way, little creamsicle, and I will see that you land safely in my arms!
Fly me to the moon,
Let me mew among the stars,
I wanna see what spring is like,
On Jupiter and Mars…!
JenJen….that cracked me up! Loved it! AND love the little kitten!
Is this how they’re delivering kittens to people these days? He looks a little stripy to me, around the paws. CUTE.
Look at him’s little timid-tail!!
I’m only in the midwest – I’ll love ‘im and smoosh ‘im and call ‘im George if we can somehow get him here (or me there & back)!
Awww. “His spirits remain high.”
OMG. Today’s posts are almost too cute…
Fennec fox earses!
@ kittyadventures: Auntie Em and Uncle Henry and I are eagerly awaiting his arrival in Kansas! (I’ll have to change my CO name, but it’ll be worth it.) (Oh, and my actual name, too, as hubby will send me & cat #6 packing.) (Not really. He’s a pushover.)
Love the little creamsiclette! Alas, I live in Atlanta. At least I’m on the right coast right? That’s gotta count for something!
That is the cutest little balloon weight I’ve ever seen, is it a party favor, too?
If I didn’t have a grumpy old kitty and and very active toddler I’d be on the subway to pick him up now!
Please give us an update if this bebeh gets a home….Please?
LOL @5Now8 I am married to a push over too.
when we got our tuffy kitten and iwas trying to train him to sleep in his basket in the kitchen instead of our bed.. Hubby whined until I went and brought the kitten into bed with us. Cracked me up….. Mr I am tough and do not like cats..yeah right!
Aww, I think he wants to go to South America!
KittehDeckchair. I bet he’d rather go camping.
Want want want!!! I want to be closer to him so I can HAVE HIM!!!! I have always wanted an orange kitteh, to match my husband’s hair. <3
::eeee:: ::eeeeeeeee:: ::eee..eeeee.ee::
[that's the sound of my sharpie as I scrawl my address on the balloons]
“Oh, well, at least this is better than what happened after he watched _Saw_…”
@ Chanpon! I can totally hear that sound in my head, too.
I love Empty Cages Collective! I got a kitten from them last fall, whom they found in trash dump in Queens. He’s profiled on their website (his name is Quark).
Ooooh, I wish I were in that area, this kitteh would tewtally be mine.
(btw folks, I haven’t been able to post for a few days because I’ve been busy finishing my dissertation and graduating and getting my doctorate…I’m still looking at the posts just don’t always have time to post on every one!)
In my mind’s eye, my visualization of a perfect world: noes abanduned kittehs, all pets are luuved and cherished, war haz fallen into disuse, people treasure one anuvver and live in peece, the world haz become green agen……… then I awaken from my day-dreem reverie and heer awl the awful news awn TV…… my dreem bubble pops…….……. I reluctantly go back to reel-tyme…..
a brooklyn kitty!!
Congratulations to Dr. Berthaservant. You deserve a huge basket of marmies.
YAY!!!! Dr. Berthaservant. What did Bertha say when you came home with the paperwork? Serious congratulations to you and Bertha on this milestone! YAY!!!! Yes, Decca, a HUGE bucket o’ Marms! A Very Large Array of Marmies! YAY!!!!
Doktor Berthaservant–Hosannas and hoorays to you!! (Sounds of champagne corks popping, 500-piece kazoo orchestra playing “Gaudeamus Igitur,” droning commencement speaker).
These doctorates coming so fast on CO make me wish I was in graduate school again. (Looks at yellowing ancient diploma on wall, remembers years of tedium combined with panic)
Or maybe not. It’s best left to those with more stamina and brain cells than me. Now I will tie on a few balloons, float off, and go look for that kitten.
To be completely truthful, I don’t actually have the papers yet as there is some paperwork yet to be taken care of, but the thanks are most welcome! I will amend my name when I am legally allowed to do so!
And Bertha has been quite snorgly lately, so I think she’s proud, too.
Looks like he wants to do a late audition for ‘Up’.
“Tower, this is N-five-niner-niner. We have finished preflight checks and are requesting permission to launch en route to Sunbeam, with a maximum anticipated altitude of 4.5 feet AGL. We have checked our transponder and visited the litter box.”
“Stand by for clearance, Clarence.”
“What’s our vector, Victor?”
@Argyle Donkeypants: Surely you can’t be serious…?
Cute kitty looks like he’s a little afraid of the distance down. You can do it, kitty! Fly!
Poor kitty all like, “why you do dis to me? Gimme a break! Dis not funny, you big fat meany. Now my toesies barely touch the floor, and that makes me NERVOUS!”
Awww. Just notice little floaty kitty needs a home. Shouldn’t tease me like that. It’s just a hop, skip and a jump over a couple of rivers from Joisey to Brooklyn. And I do love me some marmies.
Unfortunately, my 13-year-old blind persian kitty wouldn’t like to live out the last of his days being pestered by fiesty young-un!
Sending happy adoption thought across those rivers for this sweet baby. I’m sure he’ll find a home in no time!
Aww, I wish I could take him home with me to SI! But unfortunately I don’t have any room…I hope he gets adopted by loving people!
Berthaservant-Puuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs of congratulations and felicitations from all of your friends on CO. (Yes, I speak/purr for everyone.)
And don’t call me Shirley!
It’s the birthday kitten!
I loved listening to that song by “The Fifth Dimension” It is on “YouTube” if anyone wants to listen to it and watch the band preform Congratulations on your doctorate, Dr. Berthaservant As for that cute little kitty, hurry and grab the sweetie before those balloons carry the kitten away I would do the rescueing if I knew where that kitty was
Berthaservant…Congratulations to you and Bertha for these snorgle-worthy
achievements! So very proud of you.
cheshirekittehkat…thank you for sharing your vision of all that could be, of all
that needs to be, of all that reminds us to care and keep on trying.
This is super cute. Should add more balloons and make it float a little. XD It would be super cute! =D
Aaww Bless his little cotton socks. Such a pity I have an ocean between us, otherwise he’d be coming home with me to meet my two. Please update us on his home situation!!
And Congrats to BerthaServant!!!
@ 45 chanpon
LOL thats the bestest!!
I wish he’d come floating by my window–he looks like he needs a good cuggle!
…wait, that’s next post.
See Puff go up….Up, PUFF,..UP!
thats really cute!!!
THAT IS SOO MEAN!
