awww this reminded me immediately of wheely willy (the poor little chihuahua couldn’t use his back legs so one of the things his owner tried was tying balloons to his back – but now he has a wheelchair

Awwww, he looks just like my Mom’s kitty (except he is the furthest thing from a total love monkey there is).
@kat – I knew people in the CH cat community who trained their CH kittens to walk by slinging a nylon stocking under kitteh’s belleh to hold him up while he got his legs going.
Add one more balloon and I do believe that this little kitty will be airborne! Sail my way, little creamsicle, and I will see that you land safely in my arms!

when we got our tuffy kitten and iwas trying to train him to sleep in his basket in the kitchen instead of our bed.. Hubby whined until I went and brought the kitten into bed with us. Cracked me up….. Mr I am tough and do not like cats..yeah right!

I love Empty Cages Collective! I got a kitten from them last fall, whom they found in trash dump in Queens. He’s profiled on their website (his name is Quark).
Ooooh, I wish I were in that area, this kitteh would tewtally be mine.
(btw folks, I haven’t been able to post for a few days because I’ve been busy finishing my dissertation and graduating and getting my doctorate…I’m still looking at the posts just don’t always have time to post on every one!)
In my mind’s eye, my visualization of a perfect world: noes abanduned kittehs, all pets are luuved and cherished, war haz fallen into disuse, people treasure one anuvver and live in peece, the world haz become green agen……… then I awaken from my day-dreem reverie and heer awl the awful news awn TV…… my dreem bubble pops…….
……. I reluctantly go back to reel-tyme…..

These doctorates coming so fast on CO make me wish I was in graduate school again. (Looks at yellowing ancient diploma on wall, remembers years of tedium combined with panic)
Or maybe not. It’s best left to those with more stamina and brain cells than me. Now I will tie on a few balloons, float off, and go look for that kitten.
To be completely truthful, I don’t actually have the papers yet as there is some paperwork yet to be taken care of, but the thanks are most welcome! I will amend my name when I am legally allowed to do so!
And Bertha has been quite snorgly lately, so I think she’s proud, too.

Awww. Just notice little floaty kitty needs a home. Shouldn’t tease me like that. It’s just a hop, skip and a jump over a couple of rivers from Joisey to Brooklyn. And I do love me some marmies.
Unfortunately, my 13-year-old blind persian kitty wouldn’t like to live out the last of his days being pestered by fiesty young-un!
Sending happy adoption thought across those rivers for this sweet baby. I’m sure he’ll find a home in no time!
Aww, I wish I could take him home with me to SI! But unfortunately I don’t have any room…I hope he gets adopted by loving people!
