Hey, could he maybe come over to my house and use his powers to help me find the little kitty who disappeared in my house last night? There’s this little stray calico girl who’s been hanging out in my yard all the time and I’ve been feeding her. Last night she was sitting right there looking at me as I was getting ready to go to bed, and since it was likely to rain, I thought I’d bring her in and give her a room for the night and let her outside in the morning. I put her in my tiny office with food and a blankie, and she seemed content. But this morning I couldn’t find her. I searched and searched–this is a very small room and there aren’t spaces that I could figure out where she could be, but somehow she managed to hide. I feel awful and am going crazy today until I can get home to tear the room apart.

skippymom, I think you have a new kitty. Just leave food and water out — and a little litter tray would be nice too. Wee thing will eventually feel comfortable enough to come out to visit you when you’re working in your office. If I lived outdoors and someone gave me a nice office to stay the night in, I’d hide too.
Sandy, thank you for the encouragement. Yes, I put her in there with food, water and a litter box. She has everything she needs, but I’m worried that she’s scared and has squeezed herself into some impossibly tiny space. Maybe the boys said threatening things to her under the door during the night.
I think you’re right that I have a new cat (that makes four in a very small house!) but I had planned to wait until the fall to fully integrate her into the family.

So cute! I think it is trying to put that noodle in its cheek pouch, but it just realizing that it wouldnt fit. I have two adorable hams who also do crazy things- like pretending that their wheel is a litter box so I have to clean it every day. Hamsters are just the craziest little things ever.
