It was suggested that playing the harmonica is a good howl-training technique. Of course, sometimes you just get a basset who plays the harmonica.

Funny, I’ve read different; dogs howl when we sing (or howl) because they’re trying to join in. If it hurt their ears, they’d move away from the sound.

For some reason Roscoe is never fooled by human barking or howling. He wasn’t fooled by this guy either…he was just like, ‘meh, whatever’

Theresa: he DOES regurgitate food into the mouths of the wolves he works with. this guy is amazingly dedicated to protecting wolves and researching their behavior in the most authentic way he can…by becoming part of the pack.

and is he really to be judged on his looks or hair or for rolling in wolf poo? i think this guy is a hero for the work he does. he has dedicated his life to changing our understanding of wolves, so that armchair wildlife defenders like all us CO fans have something snorgleworthy. so quit yer judgin and get back to squeeeeing, people! stat!
