When I was a kid my dad found a hedgehog in the road (in South London) and brought it back into our garden. Turns out she was expecting and we soon found ourselves hosts to a hedgie family for the next year.
The babies did not look at all like this. I suspect from the big ears that this one originates from a hot climate. It looks like a hedgie crossed with a fennec fox.
