Cows II: This Time, It’s Snorglable

by Not That Mike The Other Mike on May 15, 2009

Sometimes that cow, she looks right into ya. Right into your eyes. And, you know, the thing about a cow… she’s got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll’s eyes. When she comes at ya, doesn’t seem to be living… until she licks ya with that soft pink tongue and then… ah, then you hear that terrible high-pitched squee-in’…

We’re gonna need a bigger barn, Fay H.

2 Brian 05.15.09 at 5:55 am

Look at those ears! Look at those eyes! Look at that fluff!! Excellent specimen, indeed!

3 Bada 05.15.09 at 5:59 am

They’re not lifeless! Cow’s eyes ate cute and full of life. Much more than men’s!

4 wannadance 05.15.09 at 6:05 am

is he stuffed?

is it a boy or girl animule? how can you tell?

but mostly, is it stuffed?

5 Von Zeppelin 05.15.09 at 6:08 am

Nice parody of Quint, the grizzled shark hunter from Jaws, NTMTOM. Except your cow expert should know that cows are usually not referred to by the pronoun “he.”

6 Ebichu 05.15.09 at 6:09 am

For some reason his/her expression reminds me of that of a syrian hamster.

I didn’t know that cows could manage BEF!

7 Cambridge Rat Mom 05.15.09 at 6:17 am

Is that a Scottish Highland? They are the most beautiful cow around. And they got the tongue to slorp with. Come closer to me…

8 Susan 05.15.09 at 6:19 am

Cute picture… but you’re referring to it as both female (cow) and male (he). I guess that explains the confused look on his/her face… :-)

9 Beauty_without_cruelty 05.15.09 at 6:21 am

Awwww…i love cows…i dream of some day having a few animules of my own. I want one of each: a cow, a horsie, a goat, and perhaps 3 chickens…
And i have always loved cows eyes, they are soulful and have very long lashes. Cows are girlie!

10 MadameX 05.15.09 at 6:23 am

Actually, NTMTOM and VZ, a cow should never be referred to by the pronown “he” – cows are girls, bulls are boys. And their eyes are definitely NOT lifeless! They are placid and sweet and all kinds of wonderful!

Much like that fluffy bit’o'mocha proshness…

11 lrm 05.15.09 at 6:25 am

Can I hug it, please? That’s all I want to do. Maybe kiss its schnozzle, too.

12 260Oakley 05.15.09 at 6:35 am

I love to go swimmin’ with bovine-legged women…

13 Kristabelle 05.15.09 at 6:37 am

Furry cow!!

14 Nissa 05.15.09 at 6:48 am

Cow tongues look deceptively soft. But in reality they’re like big ol’ cat tongues!

In other news: Cows think I’m delicious!

15 Katiedid 05.15.09 at 7:03 am

OMG SO FREAKY!!! My boyfriend’s friends were over last night and we said the Jaws “Dolls eyes” thing about my bird hahahhahaha.. CO you are reading my mind lol…

17 WendyPinNJ 05.15.09 at 7:12 am

I think we need a CO X-treme close up of the moist nosicle as it appears to be literally dripping!

Loves me some cows. Especially fuzzy teddy bear cows!

18 pyrit 05.15.09 at 7:13 am

“Mother says, you can tell a lot about a person by the size of their grain elevator.” blink-blink.

19 Ladybug 05.15.09 at 7:25 am

Someone once told me I have cow eyes — meaning (I thought!) big, brown, soft, warm, gentle eyes. Maybe they meant glassy, cold, lifeless, soulless shark eyes??? Noooooo … :(

20 BeckyMonster 05.15.09 at 7:28 am

50% Cow
50% Teddy Ruxpin

100% Redonkulous!

Farewell and adieu to you Spanish heifers
Farewell and adieu, you heifers of Spain,
For we have received orders to sail to old Boston,
But we hope in a short time to see you again.

26 jess e. 05.15.09 at 8:05 am

Does anybody else think this adorable cow is related to the poodle from the previous post? The colour, the floofiness! Brother (sister) from another mother!

27 lauren 05.15.09 at 8:08 am

28 Metz 05.15.09 at 8:09 am

TTFN.

29 kibblenibble 05.15.09 at 8:12 am

Sweet how the leetle tongue is slightly askew…:-)

30 Suzi 05.15.09 at 8:13 am

Wow! I see a lot of folks noticed the Teddy bear looks. This sweet thing just looks so cuddly. The eyes don’t look as lifeless anymore. They more remind me of they button eyes of my Teddy bear and with a smoochable schnoz to boot.

31 Snarfff 05.15.09 at 8:13 am

Fluffy, snorgable, cuddly cowage… where can I get mine?

32 pyrit 05.15.09 at 8:17 am

Cows are CUDdly!

33 Imahaint 05.15.09 at 8:30 am

From Twister, “We got cows…”

I want to hug it and kiss it and name it George……

This is just too much, “Awwwwww,” for one morning. (Snatches pic and makes desktop background).

34 Mud Bug 05.15.09 at 8:36 am

Where’s the big pink satin ribbon & big bow that should go around her neck ???

35 fae 05.15.09 at 9:14 am

“That my friends is EBEF. Enhanced Beady Eye Factor. An SUV sized BEF. FYI. IMO.”

I’m pretty sure you mean BEEF – Beady Eye Enhancement Factor…

36 KittyAdventures 05.15.09 at 9:16 am

Metz..LOL EBEF sooo true.
Pyrit HEhehehe.

And who ever said it was a cross between a cow and a teddy ruxpin was sooo sooo right!

37 Von Zeppelin 05.15.09 at 9:45 am

@Theresa–The sailors harmonize around the concertina, dancing a merry reel,as the square-rigger sets the t’gallants and tops’ls, bound out from Cadiz for Boston. And Las Vacas de España, their soulful eyes tearful below their lace mantillas, wave their hooves in nostalgic farewell.

38 Theresa 05.15.09 at 9:47 am

VonZep: Jijijiji!

39 maca 05.15.09 at 10:18 am

mmm… burger.

40 Noelle (the First) 05.15.09 at 10:25 am

Proof that The Velveteen Rabbit is based on real events; for surely this cuddly Cow was once a much beloved stuffed animal made real by a child’s love then brought to life by the Nursery Magic imparted in a Fairy’s kiss!

Although I love that story, it gave me no end of anxiety as a child. So much responsibility. I cried any time my Mom tried to put one of my stuffed animals away. Not to mention the sleepless nights trying to catch their conversations. I have a very vivid imagination!

41 sunnymum 05.15.09 at 11:02 am

What a beautiful animal. I’m happy to be vegetarian and not supporting a cruel industry. Not nuffing, just saying I’m happy about it.

42 Martha in Washington 05.15.09 at 11:29 am

It’s a Hieland Coo! I’m leaving for Scotland in 5 weeks and I hope to see lots of the cuddly coos. I have a picture of me with an adult version of this bebeh from the last time I went over. I love the way their hair always needs a good trim.

43 berthaservant 05.15.09 at 11:35 am

Show me the way to the barn…
I’m tired and I want to go to hay…

44 T.U.M. 05.15.09 at 11:47 am

Y’know, if anyone had ever told me a couple years back that i would find it adorable when a calf sucked my entire hand into her mouth, I wouldn’t have believed it. But it’s happened a couple of times over the past year, and it just makes me go SQUEE!

45 Katiedid 05.15.09 at 12:05 pm

I’m proud to be a carnivore and not support the cruel harvesting industry.. Billions of poor carrots and corns killed each year.. not nuffing either.. just saying… ok so maybe I eat a carrot or two… :-D

46 zeldapie 05.15.09 at 2:24 pm

My pa held me up to the

56 puddlepeppers 05.15.09 at 8:02 pm

Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle…
the cow jumped over the Moon…
the little dog laughed to see such sport…
and the clowns wore their bunched pantaloons.
*O0<

57 Subhangi 05.15.09 at 10:36 pm

It’s a cow/teddybear hybrid! How adorable!

58 Marie 05.16.09 at 12:08 am

Your cinnamon fur is is making me crazy,
Looking out those beady eyes the world must seem hazy,
I want to brush that hair and nom those ears,
If I take my time I can make it last for years.

Yes, I’m in love.

59 Lucas 05.16.09 at 10:14 am

62 Redbone 05.17.09 at 4:24 pm

I’ve met people who maintain that exact facial expression all the time.

63 Kit.e 05.17.09 at 6:48 pm

Not to be picky… But I always thought the quote was “Like a dog’s eyes” and he drawls on dog, “dawg”.
Does that sound too particular? I think I’ve seen Jaws about a billion times. Such a classic movie!
Oh yeah, and the cow, ish too coot.
