Brinnann, I’ve been reading your list, reading the caption, and looking at the picture over and over, I can’t follow how you worked this out. Am I just inept at reasoning, or did you make it up?

This is where I started, so I assumed that it would follow that whoever was placed first would be the darkest.
“so Redonkulousness, I need you to stand next to Nomming…”
So Nomming was already there in place as the darkest, and Redonkulousness was put next to him.

They were apparently reversed, so their correct order would be Proshness then Snorgles. (And now I notice that I accidentally put “Snorgling” above.)

@brinnann: I’m impressed! I confess that I didn’t put any thought into the arrangement at all, but your breakdown makes complete sense.

Oh dear, the velvety lips are keeeeeling me.
Ponies ARE attitude personified ( or horse-onified); my daughter once rode the smallest, cutest white pony in a horse show. He stopped right in front of the judge, and, er, defecated, despite my daughter’s most strenous efforts to motivate him. (You could hear the crop “whapping” all over the entire arena, but in addition to the pony-tude, he had the thickest white hair EVAR, so he never felt a thing!!) And we got it all on video!! Redonk!

But I’ve been lucky enough to ride on these guys, don’t call them ponies to the Icelanders, they get raather huffy and can only be soothed by pudding. The horsies however are wonderfully hardy and mellow to ride.
Oh just a tip, if you decide to do what I did and ride through the lava fields in winter, bring earmuffs. Just trust me on that.

I took this photo in Iceland. The arrangement of the ponies was accidental, but when I saw the group I new they made a great friendly cute photo.
Iceland is a magical place for a holiday but somewhat expensive.

OK, I believe these are a barbershop quartet, just ‘wood shedding’ on an Icelandic plain. But, maybe Theresa, “Goodbye, My Reykjavik Baby”? I’d love to think that these horsies are serenading the world with their lovely voices and long, flowing (yes, Fabio-like) manes.

Oh man, you think they’re cute now? I just got back from Iceland, and I guess the horses still had winter coats b/c their fur (hair?) was thick and curly. OMGOMGOMG – little horses whose shoulders were no higher than mine with curly fur. I almost died from teh cute.

I got to see some of these cute little tykes up close and personal last summer in Iceland. They get real insulted if you call them ponies though over there. Entirely beautiful things in person!!
Icelandic ponies are so beautiful!! Their hair is like freakin human hair! Doesnt this group just look like some kind of boy band…..backstreets back alright
