That looks like a nice spot to take a nap! ❤ the puppeh!
You are my sunshine my only sunshine
You make me happy when skys are grey.
BTs could very well have their own overload site.
Thank you very much, agent McPuppersons! I will nap now!
@hon glad, that’s one of our family’s favorite songs. 🙂
It’s wonderful to sleep in the sunbeam. Sooooo warm.
In the first picture, it looks like he is wearing old-fashioned black stockings! 🙂
Boston terriers look like they’re in black unitards. 😉
*smooches the Boston Terrier puppeh on the schnozzle*
Those two pics brought a major ray of sunshine to my gloomy day.. Thanks =)
on my belly
make me happeeeeee!
That floor looks pretty hard for a really good sunshine nap. Perhaps the Spanish Inquisition could bring in some comfy pillows.
OMG!! My puppies finally made it!! *waves* Hi Tux !!
Gaiz, this calls for a dog-bizkit cake celebrashon!!!
puppy should be sin.gu.lar [sing-gyuh-ler] LOL
What can I say – I’m just an overly proud mama!
ooooooooh boston’s… 😀 can’t wait to go home and smooch mine!
look how cute the shadow is in the second one XD
The shadow is fantastic, artgirl. Good catch!
What was the name of that kiddie educational show that used to be on Animal Planet (I think) with the guy and his Boston? I thought I was hilarious, but then I’m a kid at heart. Wishbone is still one of my favorite shows, too.
I also noticed the charming shadow on the second pic! After recovering from the adorableness of the puppeh!! Someday, when I’m allowed to have a dog maybe, I will have BT’s on the list of possibles. They’re very cute!!
toooooo cute. Bostons do have their own cute website at WOOFboard.com if you’re a fan!
I soooo want to nom his adorable ears! *nom nom nom*
Yodie, I wanna see the pics where he’s sleeping! 🙂
Sunbeams are cool, although we all know that they are merely nesting places for the rampaging marmie hordes.
My Boston does that too!!!! He always goes to find the sunshine and sits at the window (like a cat) or he nuzzles his way through the blinds to get to the sunshine. Must be a Boston Terrier thing!
I love frenchies!!!
Especially when their ears is not 100% up. Cute extreme overload 😀
Tux is a Boston Terrier (or Boston Terror most days)!! He’ll find the tiniest ray of sunshine, and in the winter – he will lay on top of the central heating vents 😉 Such a little heat mongrel !
What a cutie pie! My BT is always looking for sun spots.
Honk-Shus comin’ soon! 🙂
perfect place to stand out!!! ^_^
Doggie finds sunspots.
10-4 Meg, allow sleepingk to comzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
As the proud owner of a Boston myself, I say this with great humility, that quite possibly is the cutest Boston picture ever. Sorry, I do not say the cutest Boston ever, as obviously that belongs to my Ruby.
Boston fans, check http://www.littlebeasts.com.
Thanks dzymzlzy 🙂
And thanks to Meg for finally posting him so I can share with all teh pups in sunbeam lovers out thar!
Yodie, he is certainly a cutie. I just love Boston’s so much (even the one sleeping next to me that woke me up at 4:30 this morning)! Those ears of his ROCK.
i am more convinced my new dog is going to be a boston terrier! just something about them really appeals to me. 🙂
Eternalcanadian, I highly recommend a Boston! They LOVE their people and are very loyal. They constantly keep you laughing with their antics. They like to cuddle and love to play. Fairly easy to train (all of mine have been highly food motivated). Downside, they are a bit gassy which can be embarrassing at times, but funny. I have had 3 Bostons and they have all been “lickers”. Going to try and see if I can curb that in my next puppy but I think it’s a Boston thing. I love a lot of dog breeds but their is something special about Bostons and I can’t imagine not having at least one in my life. Just find a reputable breeder and avoid those pet stores like the plague!!
The licking…. whats with that? I’m starting to think I need to give my house guests complimentary mittens when they come over! LOL
And the gas…… oooomigod the gas. Louder than the humans in my house sometimes.
My only advice would be to make sure that you match their energy. A high energy dog with a low energy owner = Boston Terror.
I third the Boston recommendations, as well as the licking and gas cautions.
I will say that a Boston is not so much high energy as highly intelligent. They’re perfectly willing to chill out with you, but you’ve got to engage that intelligence at least twice a day…more if possible.
We rescued ours from the city pound and, other than being big for a Boston, we can’t figure out how he wound up there.
Forgot: another Boston trait is that they are highly, highly sensitive to moods and vocal inflections. Shaking in reaction to owner’s excitement or frustration…even when directed elsewhere…is common.
