STOP EET! Gah-haha-hahaha ha ha ha! [paws wave completely out of control]

With this kitten AND the slow loris tickle in the last week, I think we may need a new tag. Tickle, tickle by estacey.

  1. Jimbeaux says:

How could you -not- tickle this little guy? I bet he’s quite squirmy, too! 🙂

  2. The cute, it burns!

  3. oh these double posts make me twice the happy!

  4. *Looks at bebeh kitten*
    *Looks at fingers*
    *Looks at kitten*

  5. alwayscataddict says:

Ohhhhh, THUD! Ded now, absolutely ded from the qte.

  6. I have been cuted.

  7. victoreia says:

  8. victoreia says:

And I bet the volume of his purr is loud….all out of proportion with his actual size.

  9. dawgpup93 says:

soo cute want to pet computer screen!!

  10. Paunchie says:

when a kittayn is that small you can feet heem whole in yer mouf! *snorf*

  11. Awwwwww! Now I’m gonna have to go get me a cute little black kitten so *I* can tickle him! And I know just where to find such a sweetheart, too!!

  12. harlemgrrl says:

first huff kitteh, then smooch mouf
    :: splodes ::

  13. Aww, that’s so sweet it makes my diabetes hurt a little.

  14. brinnann says:

I buh-lieve this is what we call “dedifying.”

  15. fish eye no miko says:

Awww.. I bet he makes those silent little mews, too… Heehee…

  16. BonzoGal says:

That photo is so sweet it just gave me cavities in all of my teeth. ALL OF THEM.

  17. martha in mobile says:

I wonder if she is massaging her little tummy so she can poop. That’s what mother cats do (and then they eat the poop to keep the nest clean). Motherhood…it’s all about the poop.

  18. balamuthia says:

@martha, the mom cats also lick the kitten’s butt- hopefully that’s not next!

  19. ariesgirl says:

    Oooooo, goochygoochygoochy…

  20. We’re gonna hafta pass around the Snorgle Snorkle that Janet2buns commandeered from the other blog; I expect there will be a rather long line waiting for it, but it will be worth eet: SQUEEEEEE!!!! (in anticipation…..) 🙄

  21. Paunchie says:

you two up der made me gag a lil – poop eaters!

  22. Day 43 and I’m not sure how much more of this tickling I can take. Many casualties have been sustained, innocent littermates have been tickled…
But always remember, that I purr-severed, that I gah-ha-ha’d …that I never revealed who put the empty milk jug back in the fridge.
Wait, …is tickling included in the Geneva Convention?

  23. death by tickle. how thick are those fingers? i want to see another picture to get a better sense of the kitten’s smallness….

  24. Nicolletta says:

    Squeeeee!!!! *iz ded from qte*

  25. Martha in Mobile, I had to laugh when I read your comment…we have a hand-raised kitty, two years of age, that we’ve had since he was two weeks old (mother abandoned him). My husband wasn’t entirely on board with the whole kitten fostering thing. Then came the morning when I heard him in the bathroom crooning to the kitten, “Come on, you can do a poop for me.” That was when I was pretty sure that the kitten was a keeper and he had sunk his little claws deep into my husband’s heart (hubby USED to be just a dog person).

  26. For those who haven’t fostered kittens, I guess I should have mentioned that you have to take a warm washcloth and, um, help them to “go.”

  27. Poor little kitty! My older sibling used to torture me this way when I was a kid! Come to my house and I *promise* I won’t tickle you! (Crossed fingers behind back)

  28. One of the very best kitten pictures ever.

  29. i just burst into tears.

  30. jonathan says:

how about a close-up of the leeps and nosicle, please.

  31. Oooh… now I need to go back and watch the loris video again too.

  32. Look at the size of that hand! That is a Tickle Monster!

  33. kisses on belly with raspberrrrrries 🙂

  34. Oooh, the little kitteh has transparent nostrils! So teeny and new. And I love the blurry paw tewtelly in motion! You just know there is a whole lot of squirmin going on…

  35. Beth (in NC) says:

Oooohhhh can we have a tickle-tickle category???? Pleeeaaaassseee???

I didn’t know any of this about teeny kittens and their need to be helped to go potty. Very interesting!

  36. Daphne Moss says:

The powah…oh…the raw nekked power of a mouth so new, it cannot yet grow fur because it’s always too busy eating from da mommy bar!

  37. Such a little little. I’d be too scared to tickle something that fragile. But I’d have an endless amounts of laps, pockets and warm hands for snuggling and sleeping.

  38. Gahhh! Attack of the giant tickling fingers!

  39. I can’t get over the fact that his tiny little arms are SMALLER than her fingers. So tiny. OK, that’s it. Time to take you home with me!

  40. AWW 🙂 Such a tiny kitty 🙂 Makes me want to tickle its little tummy before picking kitty up and snuggling it 🙂 How old is the little sweetie 🙂

  41. berthaservant says:

We could call the new tag “teeckle,” correct?

(I actually think kitteh is probably sleeping in a straych, but either way, he must be teeckled!)

  42. puddlepeppers says:

AAAW….precious! I think as peeps we may really like to be needed.

  43. The shelter where I volunteer is getting ready to open its kitten nursery again and I can’t wait to get my mitts on a kit. This makes the wait a little easier.

  44. ARRRRRRRGGG!!! It’s the other axis of cute!
    Can’t…hold…. on……. I’m…slipping……..

  45. The Loris was too much, though. LOL!

  46. Janice of the Nine says:

Major, mayor SQUEEEEEEE action going on over here. A friend will have new kittens to home soon and I’m so jonesing for new babies like this one. But–as my non-crazy friends keep reminding me–I do already have nine cats… *sigh*

Maybe I can get my kitteh fix here. You think?

  47. haha. i took this pic and, for the record, i was actually just tickling him.. this is the kitten i named thor as he came out twice as big as the rest of the kittens. thankfully his mama did the poop-assisting so i was free just to snuggle them. but yes, some other kittens i’ve fostered have required assistance in pooping! you’ve never known satisfaction until you have massaged a baby kitten’s butt into producing poo-poo potty!

  48. berthaservant says:

Thanks for sharing the story, Stacey! Thor is a-thor-able!

  49. Ripe for a furburt.

  50. Leslie Thomas says:

…speaking as a survivor of tortured tickling…there IS
such a thing (now, now, let’s NOT all get into a lather & go off into a PC frenzy or anything.). I’m sure, esp having read the detail FROM the pic/poster,,,,that this kitten was being luxuriated, NOT tortured…

however: when ye’re a little 6 year old girl, being raised in a Catholice/ military household with 3 older brothers w/ too much testosterone, …and our Dad is off piloting fighter jets (yes, literally: Cuba, Korea AND Vietnam) & living on an “Air Crash Carrier” for months at a time …& therefore not available to herd the boyzzzz into socially appropriate boundaries of ticklin’ ….they will in fact occ. refuse to hear that they’re being overbearing to the littlest kid…

    (Post Traumatic Tickling Disorder??)

    “For the Record”

That having been said, I heartily second (or is it third now) the motion to set up a Tickling Tag for pics….(perhaps requiring consultation w/ each Ticklee, to confirm that the Tickling session was voluntary or ….)

  51. Leslie Thomas says:

…oops: That was supposed to be “Catholic”, not “Catholice”.
Guess I gotta go to confessional now, for misspelling The Denomination.
My apologies, to any priests reading these 2 entries.

    signed, a Recovering Ex-Catholic. 🙂

  52. Lerrinus says:

*waves hand in vote for a Goochygoo category*
*waves other hand in vote for a stre-e-etch category*
    *tickles pyrit*
    *tickles kitteh*
Have a great day everyone! 😀

  53. He looks all teensy. My already soft heart has melted even more!

  54. charliewabba says:

Leslie Thomas – I too am a survivor of older male sibling induced post tickling trauma. No on can truly comprehend the pain who has not been there herself. He used to threaten to stuff me in the kitchen trash can.
He is now an intellectual property attorney.

That kitteh needs to be tucked in to a nice cozy rack. I will volunteer mine.

  55. Hm, yes, tickling can be used for nefarious purposes, and for that am really sorry.
However, that kitteh belleh would be a prime example of the good style of tickling- just the soft touch of someone who loves the leeetle creetter.

Tiny bebbeh doggies have to be helped to poo also. It is the Mommy animal’s soft warm licking action that stimulates the bebbeh to eliminate. The same can be achieved with a warm, wet-ish cotton ball. Yes, achievement is a precious thing!

  56. *squeeeeeee!* *smootch smootch smootch*

  57. Leslie Thomas says:

    To Charliewabba:

    1) Irony of his becoming “intellectual property attny”….mental abilities/ motives translated from kid-version to adult occupation..
2)*sigh* (aka exhale) Thanks. I feel *SO* validated. Isn’t it nice, to know that we don’t need to fear much of this behavior, now that we’re (externally, anyhow) adults???!!! [giggle/ wink]

  58. Kristabelle says:

For the (additional) record, I HAAAAAAATE being tickled. There is nothing fun about it. If you would like to be kicked in the face, tickle my feet… HOWEVER, this tickling and the loris tickling look like enjoyable, soothing tickling…
Stacey, glad you got this shot! What an adorable baby!!!!
And, Noelegy, that is an AWESOME story about your man. 🙂

  59. AWW 🙂 I am glad you are able to help mommy cat with her babies, Stacey 🙂 That is a cute name “Thor” you gave that little kitty 🙂

  60. Raemie L says:

    Gah, the Qte!

  61. Cute indeed…
    Thanks for sharing
