The Neutral Family Would Like To Wish You an Easter

At this time of year, when families may or may not gather to possibly share in various unspecified sentiments of the holiday season, the Neutral family—Ben Neutral, Coco Neutral and little Charley Neutral—would like to take this moment to wish various persons viewing this message an Easter of some sort. Or not.

Your submission has been acknowledged, Marion.

  1. Zapp Brannigan says:

I hate these filthy neutrals Kiff!

  2. @Ben Neutral: How long?

  3. countess says:

Wha th ? How…? *sputter* how did they do that? How come my dogs won’t behave like that? Mine eat the eggs and won’t wear the ears, I know, I’ve tried. I should just give up and get a real bun. Great job on giant black easter “bunnies”, thanks for the inspiration.

  4. chickadee022 says:

Way too cute!!!!!!! I luv how they are all posed with their bunny ears.

  5. Have a day. 😛

  6. kittyadventures says:

LOL okay I love that I get to read the post first and then I scroll down to the picture…. HEhehehe…. and the hover text’s priceless. Snicker.

  7. P.Erasmus says:

Fail. this is trying to hard to be cute.

  8. PS
Q: What do you get when you cross a Jehovah’s Witness with a Unitarian Universalist?
A: Someone who rings your doorbell, but isn’t sure why.

  9. kibblenibble says:

    What a well-mannered bunch. Little Charley’s head-tilt in pic 1 is prosh.

    Patito: “How long?” LOL

  10. The Heat says:

There ought to be a new rule:
Animals in clothing are not cute. Or, at least, the clothing detracts from their cuteness.
I wish there were some sort of tag, like ‘NSFW’ and a segregated section of the site for these sorts of things. The tag could be ‘NSFNA’, “Not Safe for Non-Anthropomorphizers”.

The dogs are awfully sweet though.

  11. I am in looooove!
    So cute!

  12. I tried putting bunny ears on my dogs ONCE,
they ripped it off and played tug-of-war. LOL.

  13. berthaservant says:

I didn’t know bunny ears constitute “clothing.” And needless to say, I disagree. Pets dressed up and looking daggers at their owners is teh awesome (if humans are that foolish, let’s laugh at them)!

  14. summerfuzzehpants says:

Fail. You are trying too hard to be disapproving.

On second thought, considering the subject matter, ’tis the season to disapprove. Carry on.

  15. Hahahaha. I needed this laugh today…

  16. thats so cuteeeeeeeeeeeee

  17. Sue Kelly says:

Thanks gang about info regarding little dog and Cheetah! Didn’t think it would be a photo from Perth Western Australia, but thought I’d just check with you guys.

    Thanks best wishes,

Sue and black lab dog “Dolly” xxx

  18. Political correctness run amok…….

  19. They’re trying hard to keep their dignity. Sweeties…

  20. *BRAINWASHED DOGGEHS* LOL… Especially the one with the pink ears. Like she’s been doing this so long, her reality is starting to disintegrate. Look, she doesn’t look like she has any other ears in the pics. *snickers* hehehe…

  21. rissapants says:

    I snerked. Thank you, NTMTOM.

  22. violetgreen says:

Never have fake bunny ears looked so noble.

  23. kallisto73 says:

I like the picture. But the NOMTOM text is the best.

  24. What a lovely family.

  25. In a particularly difficult job, in a out patient psychiatric clinic, I put a pair of bunny ears (beautifully hand-wrought I’ll tell you), in my middle desk drawer. I put them on when the occasion merited it. And, when someone came across them, (yes, people would rifle through my desk), they would stop and say something in the equivalent of “what are these doing here?” My answer was, “oh, just in case”. Most people understood, and for those that didn’t, I hope they eventually understood they were the reason. The clients never saw them, but the practitioners adored them. I ended up giving them away to a very needy young person.

  26. What sweet, patient dogs! My cats would never permit this! 😀

  27. @Zapp Brannigan – “If I don’t survive, tell my wife I said ‘Hello’.”

  28. Argyle Donkeypants says:

Hah! This reminds me of the “Scrubs” episode with Barry Bostwick. Cute flupptitude x3.

  29. @Zapp Brannigan FTW! First laugh I’ve had all day.

In that second photo, I think they’re actually wishing me a Stoic Easter, which is just what I needed.

  30. To “anthropomorphize” is to attribute human traits onto something – this is more like “bunnymorphize.”

  31. Kristabelle says:

Cute puppers with bunny ears! Well behaved dogs!

  32. omg, that’s too cute. all different coloured ears too!

  33. kittyadventures says:

Hmmm well see I know they are just animals but I have had many throughout my life and though they do not speak our language I have seen the following ones play tricks on each other and on their humans (me or my family)
Dogs Cats Sheep and I have a sneaking suspicion those dogs think the ears are funny too. Anthropomorphizing? perhaps, but then we are all mammals.

@ Katrina bunny Ears & kitty ears can be just the thing sometimes can’t they.

  34. I’d hate to name dogs “Neutral.” It evokes neutering.

  35. I am placing my commment here. By commenting I am neither agreeing or disagreeing with the placement of words previous to or following mine.
Neither will I admit to any such activities as looking at the above photos and babbling “awww what sweet cutie pies” or related phrases.

  36. kittyadventures says:

    Metz. Snicker

  37. puppyski says:

Luv their little Easter suits…. precious doggies!!!

  38. @Metz, way to enter the spirit of things. Or not.

  39. These guys/gals must be the milder cousins of the Disapproving Rabbits family across town.

  40. These guys did a wunnerfull job of precision posing for their Easter pic;
(Perhaps they were accompanying Peter Cottontail, hopping down the Bunny Trail,♬♬♬♬
hippitty hoppitty..♫♫♫♫♫..etc: looks like they just took a break from all that Easter basket delivering): Well, they gave me a well-needed laugh and cheered up my day! 😆

  41. LOL! Nice “legalize” Metz!

  42. charliewabba says:

In the interest of true neutrality, I think their basket should also contain some matzah and a roasted lamb shank—or maybe it did and they buried it…

  43. Hmm, should’ve spelled that “legalese.” And I forgotted to login. 😦

  44. Whoa, wait, whut? I didn’t login through WP, but it posted mah dragon anyway? Huh?

  45. Theresa wrote, “PS
Q: What do you get when you cross a Jehovah’s Witness with a Unitarian Universalist?
A: Someone who rings your doorbell, but isn’t sure why.”

    ROFLOL – so funny, Theresa!!

  46. Pink dog in middle… “Off please.”

  47. As soon as a read the title I knew it was NTMTOM!
I like how regal the one with the purple ears looks in the second photo.

  48. kallisto73 says:

    Nice dragon, though, brinnan.

  49. What a bunch of ham bones!

  50. brinnann says:

    Tankoo, Kallisto!

    No new postinkgs? 😦 *sniffsniff*

  51. ellie the one and only says:

i wonder how those dogs would look in a bee costume…….

  52. I tell you… those dogs have zero fashion sense.

  53. Heh. NTMTOM, I gots you a link at another blog I peruse.

  54. I think a library should be just as conducive to bunny ears as a psych ward, but alas it was not. They wouldn’t let us have pussycats or puppydogs either, the meanies. 😥

  55. Mary (the first) says:

I think it’s double cute that one of them is wearing a pink vest to match her ears. I believe there is a daddy dog (blue ears), mama dog (pink ears and matching apron) and teenage boy (purple ears, lolling about doing nothing attitude). I wish I could have a dog family.

  56. dangster says:

@Zapp Brannigan: “What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?”

    Tee hee 😀

  57. I have never seen dogs with such bored expressions. They look like they were bribed. They be plotting REVENGE……. the pink one looks slightly psychotic. AHAHA

  58. Plaid-shirt Pyrate says:

A follow up to Theresa’s joke about Unitarians (see post #8 above):

    Q. How do you know when you’ve been visited by the Unitarian Klan?
    A. You open your front door to find a burning question mark in your front yard….

(This post and its poster do not endorse nor condone the Klan in any way, shape, or form. It’s a joke, people.)

  59. brinnann says:

*snerk* FWIW, PsP, I thought it was funny.

  60. So solemn and attentive! Makes the floppy ears that much funnier.

  61. Is this Island View? Sure looks like it! Great photo 🙂

  62. little rabbit foo foo hoppn through the forest turnning all poor pups into jokes well ok they dont look that sad they look like they are havn sorta fun i guess

  63. How very observant you are!! It is Island View!

  64. summerfuzzehpants says:

    Ooh, oooh, I know! Lagomorphizing!
