I’ve decided it’s a west highland white terrier. not that that’s a french breed…
I suspect this is a v. babeh American Eskimo dog — it actually looks just like a v. babeh schipperke (which my flatmates had–totally awes), but as they don’t come in white, I think it’s another spitz-family dog, which the AE is. W/these spitzes (including poms), their hair gets much longer & thicker & develops the characteristic ruff, culottes, etc. in adulthood, so they look quite different as v. young bebehs. The face also develops later into the adult profile. Can any AE owners out there confirm?
