I love how the fennec fox runs away the moment kitty’s attention wanders away from him. And omg those ears!!I was waiting for the kitty to start licking inside the ear…he’d get lost in there!
Wow! I assume the fox is a rescue or foster, but I guess you never know.
That’s really weird, and also sort of sweet. To Lauren: yeah, they’re legal in some U.S. states (not in California), but they don’t really make good pets, regardless of what the fox freaks, I mean enthusiasts, say. They’re nocturnal, burrowing, food-hoarding little wild animals that are better off in the wilds of North Africa than in your living room.
If there’s anything every cat knows, it’s that all other animals have filthy, filthy ears.
BWAAHAHAHA! The cat’s all, “And I shall love him, and pet him, and call him George.” Did my ears mistake me, or did the fox freak out when the background “music” change from meowing to barking?
This cat makes me wonder… what DO fennic foxes taste like. Maybe I’ll just have a nibble…

I was pretty sure the fox was comatose for the first minute or so. Or heavily drugged. I was relieved to see it perk up at the end!
Judging by how that cat is gripping the fox, I’m not entirely sure he isn’t “tasting” him rather than cleaning him!
And yes, as soon as the barking started the fox looked around and got nervous.
Love how kitteh has a tight grip on foxy’s head as she grooms: “Oh, honey let Mama groom just a bit more…it’s for your own good…no, really sweetheart, you’re not quite clean yet…” and Fox is just resigned to his fate until kitteh gets distracted by her own paw, and then…FREE at last!!!!
Uh-dor-uh-buhls!!!!!!! Also loved the cats singing Danse des Merlitons in the background.
By the way, there are fenec foxes at Grant’s Farm in St. Louis and they are like cats in the fact that they dig a hole to go potty and then cover it up when they’re done. If only my cat would do that!

Okay, you know what makes this so disturbing? Kitteh goes about licking Mr. Fox as though he were simply an extension of Kitteh. Like, “Oh, and what’s this here? A bit more of me to lick. When did my ears get so big?”

Both of my cats loooove the taste of earwax. I can’t even imagine what they’d do with those fennec ears.
The look on the fox’s face is all “Sheesh!” But the fact that they are spooning is adorable. Kitty looks like she is on a mission.

AWWWWW!! I used to have a Fennec FOX!! His name was Merlin cos he could get out of any cage ! No matter how you locked it he would get out and be waiting for me in the morning . He used to run just like that when the Iguana would come in and he would chase Samson (The Iguana). Samson was 4 1/2 feet long from nose to tail and was very lovable to all except Merlin . Merlin used to love to steal Samson’s Veggies! I miss them both so much . I had to sell them when My First Husband got so ill .
I’m amused at how kitteh’s all,

Aww this kitteh is doing the same thing my cat used to do to my mom’s totally neurotic half-feral kitteh. He’d set to cleaning her and for a while she’d bliss out and be happy and calm. Of course it all usually ended with biting and hurt feelings.
