I love that the dog is the same color as a nicely pulled Guinness.
happy st. patrick’s day everyone! it’s actually sunny here for a change…
Mmm, Guinness. Good for what ales you.
Also, dog has a good head on him.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Peeps!!!
(Drink Responsibly. Make sure an Irish Setter is your designated driver.)
man… I had a feeling I was ganna get pinched today…
The dog’s so drunk he got the time zones backwards…
Cute dog. My dog loved beer.
My pooches love beer too – if I don’t guard a beer they’ll knock it over and slurp it up (opportunists).
Happy St Patty’s day, all!
Happy St. Patty’s Day, peeps!
Ummm…this is NOT CUTE. Beer is HAZARDOUS to dogs.
Just kidding. This is adorable. Beer and dogs – two great tastes that taste great together.
What kind of dog is that? S/he looks like a Golden Retriever/ChocoLab mix… bur s/he’s ALL gorgeous!!!
And a Happy St. Paddy’s to y’all, too!
I used to have a cat that would drink guinness. By the capful, bottle cap full that is.
Guinness! A meal in each pint! Someday I’ll drink from the source and know true Guinness-ness-ness. Happy Leaping Leprechauns!
That’s 9 Eastern, 6 Pacific. Or did someone start drinking early?
Now THAT is a good dog! He can poo on the floor all he wants as long as he keeps bringing me those… Good Boy!
Flat-coated retriever! Flat-coated retriever!
Typical, so happy to be bringing something. I can almost see the wagging tail in the background.
Thanks to all who questioned the time zones. I thought I was going crazier….
And that beautiful dog is an Irish Setter, so very appropriate for this day. We had one when I was a pup.
I love the moist nosie and sleek forehead just begging to be scratched.
I once knew a guinea pig named Guinness. He was cute, but not as cute — or, indeed, helpful! — as this beautiful pup!
Very Cute! Happy St Patricks Day!
Happy St Patrick’s and a Diddley diddley diddle dee.
According to the owners, that is a flat coated retriever, not an Irish setter. I was hopping it was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, but I could tell it was not curly enough. However, as long as the dog is the bearer of Guinness I don’t care what breed he is!

So the sun rises in the west now? It should be 9AM ET and 6AM PT
Good boy! Have one yourself.
As to the time zones, with enough Guinness the earth starts spinning in reverse.
I call matchingks.
Oh my gosh what a beautiful coloured dog…
Top o’ the middle of the afternoon to ye!
Happy and Happy Peeps, as has been said, drink responsively and only with a faithful dog.
The orchestra is biforcating! Theresa, we’re biforcating!
A new orchestra will be started next week!
I wonder if this was Mr. Brown as a puppy?

I would be proud to be seen in a bar with that dog! Guinness, my favorite!
Birdcage — borderline, but I’ll allow it.
Fun fact: carefully tear open the Guinness can after consuming. Rinse off the ball you find inside & give to cat.
Sit back & enjoy!

Harp is a good alternative for the vegetarian and vegan Peeps! It’d probably work better for coloring green, as well, for those who are into that.
Go to the photostream folks — breathtaking photos of happy, happy dogs romping in the fields and streams, doing all things that dogs should do. Paradise for dogs!
St. Patrick was so cool.
I’ve been trying to get my dog to do this for years.. On the negative side, it would teach her how to open the fridge.. but I think she already knows how to do that, and on the positive she could bring me a beers
Beautiful dog! Not so sure about Guinness in a can, though. ;p
Caed Mile Failte!
Erin Go Braugh!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Retriever brings Guinness…Brilliant!
Don’t you think they’re trying to pass it off as an Irish Setter, what with St. Paddy’s Day and all?
THAT looks just like my beloved Irish Setter I had as a tween-ager, her name was Heidi, NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer, but a incredibly loving happy-joy -joy dog.
CUTE photo, it tells a tail.
what is matchinks? the pup and can or what?
Katrina, is that legal in your state?
PS: Peench that doggeh, he’s not wearing green!
Erin Go Braugh! Or as I like to say, Erin Go Braless! Um… cute doggy
bleecccch. hate beer and all alcohol. even when delivered by adorable puppeh. (YES, I ‘NUFFED!)
I really like Guinness but can’t have anything with bubbles in it or any booze. Feh. Erin go Feh. Well, no, Katrina go Feh.
Yes, Theresa, and we are doing it! We’re birthing a new “Foundational” Orchestra.
This Sunday is the NHSO Festival in New Haven at the ACES Educational Center for the Arts-Anner-and all nearby Peeps-you are most welcome – CCCYO will be playing at about 1:30!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Peeps!
Mary: Ohh, you got me with that one! Mischevious!
Now this is a dog I’d take home. He’s beautiful, and I love me some Guinness! It’s great over a brownie sundae.
Also, there’s no such thing as too early to drink. It’s always 4 PM somewhere in the world.
Here’s my Photoshopped version of the pic above:

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Theo, yes! Reality to be relaxed in direct proportion to green beers consumed. In my case, it just happens naturally, hee!
All the time…
I just had an Irish coffee for lunch. The whipped cream on it was about the shade on the back of Paddy O’Chameleon, here:

That chameleon looks soooo exasperated. LOL
Guinness in a CAN?! SACRILEGE!!!!
P.S. Psst, Teho, Guinness is dark brown.
Guiness in a can actually travels alot better than Guiness in a bottle. Of course neither are better than draught.
Also, if you ever find yourself in the Nevada desert with 50,000 other people in August, Guiness is the best breakfast evarrrrr.
Um, also, cute doggie.
Guinness, breakfast of champions.
Teho, yeah, he has the 12-year-old eye-roll down.
It’s Tinbie!! Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you, too, big goof! I know that tail’s a’wagging hard
The handsome Mr. Tinbie is a liver-colored Flat-coated Retriever, as you can see by clicking through to the photostream (which is filled with amazing pictures of what’s essentially dog paradise). Flat-coats are wonderful dogs and it warms my heart to see one finally on CO
What a beautiful dog!
Great work as always, 260Oakley!
*pinches berthaservant*
Flat-coated retrievers are famous in my neck of the woods, because of Duncan, the enormous wussy FCR of NY Mets broadcaster (and former 1B) Keith Hernandez.
No, doggie, you have to turn the pub-can upside-down IMMEDIATELY upon opening. That’s OK…my husband can’t do it right either.
Katrina — I might be able to make it! Check the titmouse thread for a similar invite from me!
Theresa–Irish coffee, you call that a lunch?
Katrina, I picture myself
there for the NHSO Festival in New Haven–in my dreams…wish I were a
nearby peep…sending the
best of wishes and a prayer
to you and the ever-evolving orchestra…you are awesome!
Pretty sure your times are messed up.
When it’s 9 AM ET, it’s 6 AM PT.
[We blame the green Guinness. - Ed.]
Thanks, totallee puppy,I’ll think of you as they are playing and send you a strong wish for health and happiness.
It’ll work!
Anner- will check!
Have a great day, Peeps!
Ham-on-rye, shpeak up, I I cannt unnershtan you so good.
