Believe it or not, some CO afficionadoes were actually pissed that CO had featured that cute human baby instead of an ani,al in one post!

@lemurland – Harmless? Pshaw! What are you, some kind of shady chicken hawker? You know full well, don’t you, that lickin’ chickens leads to soft kronschin’ robins, and next thing you know, you’re in a back alley injecting pigeons into your veins. (Don’t ask how that’s possible; I wouldn’t know. But I heard it on the internet, so it must be true. Desperate dogs will do anything for a fix). The chicken hawkers must be stopped!

LOL oh I know my Chickons, we have them.. Strictly for egg laying and eating bugs around the yard.. And they are darned cute too let me just say. By the way in another two to three weeks that liitle hen will be gorgeous and fully feathered with adult feathers.
Also I believe they are training the dog that the chickon is not for eating or chasing. and that is a good thing other wise the hen would be toast pretty fast.

As to PA-sickie I love that term. IT makes me smile every time some one uses it. but that is just because I miss a good pudding fling.

And Sweet Scout (((Hugs)) IT is heart breaking to lose a pet .. They are so much more than that in the family.

Oh please. There are so many more harmful habits than chicken licken’. What’s the worst that can happen? The chicken gets a little wet. The dogs eyes roll back in ecstasy. A human takes a picture. No one really gets hurt. ~shrug~
