Cute Overload :D
This pup is totally looking up at some guy wearing a "Kiss the Cook!" apron.
Kevin T. and Chief Sister Officer sent in Sparky the ball-chasing pup.
I wish I had taken that photo. It’s awsome.
Drop it. Drawwwwwwwp it. C’mon, drop it. Gimme the ball. I can’t throw it if you don’t drop it. Now drop it. Drop IT.
I’ve done this before.
God I have a dirty mind. I had to do a double take when I saw Kiss the Cook.
Anyways, too cute! My old landlord had a cat that looked like a Boston Terrier lol.
I’ll throw it! I’ll throw it!
adorable. the eyes say it all….
@Quincy, me too! I guess I need new trifocals!
bostons are the best mine wont play though, he just looks at me and the ball as if we’re crazy
Wait — the DOG is named Sparky??
Theo, were you thinking they named the ball?
Jennie — I was thinking they named the HUSBAND “Sparky”. (aka The Sparkster) A few bylines…
This reminds me of many a dogsitting situation, mostly Goldens. They know all about chasing balls. And some will even bring them back. But none of them will give the da*n things up so you can throw them again.
Lauren– so cover the balls if they upset him. Sheesh!
AuntieMame, I recently dogsat a German shepherd who did not understand the whole chasing balls concept. She was all “I don’t do that; I must check and recheck the perimeters to make sure you are all safe.”
I love this puppy!
I heard a ruckus outside my back door the other day and found a lost boston terrier that had been cornered by a HUGE tom cat. So Little Miss Boston came and spent the night with me. She was all wiggles and kisses and hugs. I found her family the next day, so it was a happy happy ending. (especially for my cats, who have since informed me we are NEVER getting a dog.)
But I swear Boston’s can see into your soul…
That ball is as big as his head! It’s so cute!!!
Then he drops the ball for you and it’s spitty and muddy, and you throw it again, and again, and doggy is blissfully happy…doggy love! *sigh*
I cooked grilled ribs last weekend. We also had salad
and grillin’ beans with that great Beantown taste–only thing missing was this cute Boston terrier.
I would have tossed the tennis ball and shared the food.
Maybe I’m the only one who
finds the photo of the lady and the cat for PET
NEWS a little strange…I’m afraid to ask…(never mind)
Those eyes! Those eyes! How could anyone say no to those eyes?!?
Thish ball sheems to be shtuck.
Hon Glad- that was my first thought, too, someone needs to help get the ball out the pooche’s mouth.
Killer Corgi doesn’t “fetch”. No, no. Neither do we do “the C word” (Come). Way below her dignity. She will follow a small laser pointer to the ends of the Earth, however.
I really think that Corgis are half cat and half dog. A little cat/dog(like the cartoon only furrier) Much furrier. It will be Corgi shedding time soon, when the birds in our neighborhood can all line their nests with beautiful Corgi fur, provided by you-know-who!
Boomer’s babysitter – you have that sequence nailed!!! hahahahaha
There are rare Wheatens that fetch. Mine are not those. If you throw something, they run wildly in that things general direction and then keep going!!! Ball? There was a ball?
This Boston has really expressive eyes.
I met a leetle baby Boston on the subway, once. His name was Bean. And that’s what he looked like, a leetle bean. Squeeeee!
my vet has a dog just like that and he loves the ball too. Brings it back all slobbery and wants somebody to play some more.
!!!! Bostons!! I love
This photo could sell a lot of dog food.
[Or tennis balls, or laundry detergent, or corrective lenses... - Ed.]
haha thats a really cute pic… but I don’t think hes gonna be letting go of that ball, more like youd have to pry it from him..
Seriously, this photo needs to be entered into some sort of contest.
