…and lo, it came to pass that the people erected a mighty tower into the Heavens. This displeased Kitteh, and so he dispatched his angel, Mr. Fluffikins, to smite them in their wickedness…
Oh, good game! My kittehs get bored with their expensive cat toys, they prefer milk bottle rings and such, so this looks like something they’d enjoy. Thanks NomTom!
Ugh, somebody beat me to the rollover minutes joke!
The kitties and I will play this game until all of the caps disappear into the cat toy black hole in my house.
When I was but a kitten, we had a cat who would consistently knock our kitchen egg timer off any surface you put it on. Somehow the buzzing sound attracted/annoyed him. He’d also pick random things sitting on high surfaces to bat off, no matter how many times you put them back.
I loved the last time, when he let the silly human build and build and build… and then, finally, *swat*. “Ha!” he said. “Lull them into a false sense of complacency, and then strike! Works every time!”
I have the piano arrangement of the “Enigma Variations” around here somewhere. I must dig it out and play it If Dante will let me. He attacks my hands when I play the piano.
What I loved was the fact that the person had a collection of bottle caps at the ready, implying that this is a familiar and well-loved game, played many times for the kitteh’s amusement.
HEhe, adorable. Reminds me of my own cat. After knocking down an empty coffee cup or two, he gives me this look: “well, if you didn’t want me to knock them down, why did you put them on the table?”
Someone needs to put this kitteh in charge of nuclear arms control. I can see the toppling of the missiles now…
Kitty: I saw Gojira do this on tv…ROAR!!!
is the moral of the story that cats suck at jenga because the lack thumbs, or because they lack impulse control?
LOL! Kitty does not want the unused leftover minutes! They’re *old*!
Cat: “Remove this! It offends me.”
Primate: Repeating the same action, hoping for different results. Hey! That’s the definition of insanity!
Kitteh paws!
Oh, good game! My kittehs get bored with their expensive cat toys, they prefer milk bottle rings and such, so this looks like something they’d enjoy. Thanks NomTom!
Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THESE BOTTLE CAPS!
I think this kitteh was someones obnoxious little brother in another life. xD
Kitteh’s all like “Why, oh stupid hooman, do you keep putting those there, when you know they offend me?”
He looks like he could be related to Maru the sliding box cat!
Those are some top-notch gravity experiments.
In the cat world, there are things that can be eaten, things that are good for sleeping on and things that are to be batted at. Nothing else.
This is one smart kitteh: “MOM, I WANT TO PLAY TOO!”
ohhh man, my cat is going to love this game! He’s getting bored with “remove all pens from flat surfaces”
Kitteh wins! Yay! =)
“I do not build, Pink Monkey. I only destroy.”
Mr. Fluffikins grows weary of your continued insistence upon stacking the bottle caps.
Nice save at 1:21 there, Mr. Hand. (or Ms.?)
Poor kitty–it’s so hard to train a human…
Great video!
My cat wouldn’t sit and watch the tower go up. He’d be making off with each lid and batting it around my apartment.
I love that! I’m gonna start saving my soda tops immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kitteh seems to have a thing against stacks…..
WHAT are they THINKING????!!!!
if this is not the purrfect example of kitteh training hooman, i dont know what is.
excellent re-use recycle though, kittehs luff the bottle caps!
I love cats, they are so funny!
Haha, this cat’s such a jerk.
Angel huh? Is “Mr. Fluffikins” another name for, oh, I don’t know – basement cat? [in Church Lady voice]
*stacks caps*

Luff the pause-to-eat-lint-off-the-floor move toward the end there. Then he continues with his world dominayshe plans.

Oh, good, I’m not the only one who thought of that… ^_^
Curiously, the cat’s name is Nimrod.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod_(king)
That is Sir Isaac Newton kitty, not Avenging Angel Kitty.
HEheheh Nimrod is a Nimrod! Snerk… and this is a game played often .. I love how kitty gets up and prepares to do battle with the bottle caps.
Ugh, somebody beat me to the rollover minutes joke!
The kitties and I will play this game until all of the caps disappear into the cat toy black hole in my house.
That was very zen, I enjoyed it muchly.
He looks away, looks back “HEY! Who put this here?!?!” *smack*
Mr. Fluffikins is pretty patient compared to our cats. Those bottle caps would be all over the house by the end of the video!
Von Zeppelin – exactly what I was thinking!
We all know what’s going to happen…. yet we watch anyway.
I SHALL SMITE THEE… and then take a nap..
Are these Kirin bottle caps? I wonder what was the owner drinking… Afternoon Milk Tea?
Do you guys see the smile on the cat’s face? : D I now must keep all my caps for my cat. I’m sure she’ll find this very entertaining! : 3
That was very nice of those people to drink all that soda for their puddy-tat. Their hands hardly shake!
Just imagine how many places those caps could be by now- they will find them all when they redecorate or move!
Aces gamesmanship!

That human is patient…
I could never get away with building the tower two bottlecaps tall in my house. My own Catzilla wouldn’t stand for it.
I can’t even keep a pen on the table, for gosh sakes.
That patient is human…
Oooooo, I loves me a Mr. Stripely McStripelypants!
That is a therapy kitteh obviously trying to work through the hooman’s obsessive/compulsive stacking issues.
“No, hooman. It does not matter how many you stack, or how neatly you stack them. In life, there will always be a paw who will create disorder.”
Mr. Fluffikins: I could do this all day.
you know that cat thinks its hilarious. it looks around after every swat to see if anyone’s laughing.
I loved the last time, when he let the silly human build and build and build… and then, finally, *swat*. “Ha!” he said. “Lull them into a false sense of complacency, and then strike! Works every time!”
Great fun! I esp. liked it when I could hear someone snickering in the background LOL
That cat is a dick.
That cat is a dick.
That cat’s got the human trained nicely!
After reading Berthaservant’s comment, I started whistling Elgars Nimrod from the Enigma variations, with out consciously bringing it to mind.
OH I love kitties.
lolz, i would enjoy having a cat like that to play with!

Love it.
That’s some classy earworm ya got there, Hon Glad!
STACK
“No.”
STACK
“No.”
STACK
“Um…no.”
etc, etc, etc.
That’s definitely a MR. Hand…
I have the piano arrangement of the “Enigma Variations” around here somewhere. I must dig it out and play it If Dante will let me. He attacks my hands when I play the piano.
I love how he makes the last one look like an accident.
Pink Monkey needs to spend less time stacking bottle caps, and more shopping for a new sofa. That one is well beyone “comfortably broken in”.
Wonder if Gorgeous Kitty had anything to do with that?
To the Tune of “My Favorite Things” sorta:
Plastic bags, and
Bottle caps, and
Paper baaaags, too!
Milk juuuug cap tabs and carboooard boxes
These are a few of cats’ favorite things!
I’m tellin’ y’all it’s a sabotage!
What I loved was the fact that the person had a collection of bottle caps at the ready, implying that this is a familiar and well-loved game, played many times for the kitteh’s amusement.
They’ve obviously played this before. The title reads something like “Me vs Nimrod (battle of stacking bottle caps) – Round 2″.
Don’t buzz da tower!
I think Mr. Fluffykins works at the Zoning Department, and sees this as a flagrant violation of existing height restrictions on that building.
I’m not a cat person, but this just made my day.
I’ve been CO reader forever, and this might be my favorite.
LMAO!!! Reminds me of our cat – whenever we play a board game, he uses his paws to move our gamepieces around
