For the first time in recorded history, a cat has left its owner a surprise on the floor that didn’t require paper towels to clean up. Meet "Tux," who gave her owner Mandy A. a string in the shape of a heart. It’s the Valentines Day gift that says "I love you… and I’m into rope."

awwwww all my weinerdogs got me was a secret pee spot in the floor this morning as I walked across the floor and stepped in the cold, soppy mess
Boyfriend trap? Dang, this kitteh is smarter than me!
I got a couple of toys carried up into bed, but nothing like this.
That BIG face! And then….the string.
That must be a very loving home.
Purr.
Yap, a couple of dead mice (toy mice) in the bed is all I got as well.
I got a sticky wet chewy bone. Does that count?
Dianne: of course! It’s breakfast in bed.
Don’t forget the cute pink heart-shaped nose! *beep and kiss*
Black + White + Pinky Nose = THE BEST!!! Like my Stinky, God bless him. Happy Valentine’s Day everybody!!!
I was given “LUV you mommy wake up kisses” kisses (o.k. scratchy licks)on my chin
by a very determined kitten.
(My head was under the pillow)
I was just given another “gift” from my cat Muggsy. He just pucked in my bed. Aren’t cats just the cutest things some time? (Not!)
So, where did my post go?
Oh, there it is, back to washing all my bedding.
Aww! How romantic!
MY kitty has a heart-shaped spot on the tip of her nose! Does YOUR kitty have a heart-shaped spot on the tip of her nose?

that cat is up to something…I just know it….
i got vomit from my cat. twice. he’s so nice.
The lovely Stinky once put a LIVE mouse in my bed. I levitated about 15 feet. The mouse disappeared, and Stinky looked at me reproachfully. It was a very, erm, uplifting experience.
The cats is the dead spit of my Stanley, who gives me the look of love through the banister rails, I climb the stairs and give his nose a kiss.
Photoshopped. Like my husband.
“I’m a frayed knot.”
Aww true kitty love <3<3<3
Awwwww! This kitteh looks like my dear departed kitteh, Witchy. She was my soul-mate, people! We were SO connected, I miss her so.
On another note, today is my George’s 1st b-day. He and Isabella got CANNED cat food as their b-day feast…YUM! They were SO happy. I loved watching them snarf it down. Happy <3 Day, all you sweet CO peeps!
*sigh* If only my fluffernutter would don a tux and present me with a V-day rope.
The moment I saw the title, I started singing along xD Proof of a Disney geek…
I miss my kitties ;_;
Happy Valentine’s Day to Meg, Theo, NOMTOM and all the cool people in the comments section (that means you nuffers can just go be lonely somewhere else)! <3
Awww….I haven’t gotten any presents (that I’ve stepped in) yet!!
Ooops, meant to add “Happy Valentine’s Day” to all you wonderful peeps!!!
And THAT is why I am a “cat person”. I think I’ll show this picture to mine, just to give him an idea. (He hasn’t given me a card or gift yet today.)
Tux, you are a sly fox of a kitty, sending your love string style!
Happy valentine, your comments made my day.
once my dog pooed in the sheets on my convertible sofa. i would never make the bed in advance anymore from them on.
and the pussy i adopted a few years later would do it on a regular basis (when he was around 6 m old), which meant i had to carry him around when i woanted a cuppa coffee. what is wrong with me people?
i call shenanigans! i see the gloopy area to the side of the first picture where the “gift” was originally planted.
…ok, on second thought, i’m actually grateful that the sender-inner removed it from the glorp for the photo. ewww.
But look at those magnificent whiskers! He was born to be wide.
Color me skeptical. I don’t think this actually happened on Valentine’s Day!
Aesthetica, I think the marks on the right side are just scratches on the floor that coincidentally look a bit like the string. Look how different the bottom of the string is from the scratch.
But Berthaservant, you may be right about the date – our cat is not very good at reading calendars or clocks, judging by how “breakfast time” sometimes shifts to as early as 4:15 AM.
Happy Valentines Day to Meg, Theo, NTMTOM and everyone whose comments I love to read! Nice that it’s also Caturday.
Happy Day After Valentine’s Day, totallee puppy!
nicefrenchgirl-absolutely nothing! Or in my high school French- “de rien”. You have been trained!
Now, about these seven baby kittens, Heather….(nosy, nosy, nooooo-osy)
Indrifan– perhaps a Corgi would be better-I get woken up to a very loud ear-wagging-collar-ringing (she has stuff like her rabies tag and ID tags on her collar). Yes, it is cute, Killer learned it after having an ear infection. Everytime she waggled I went to look in her ears- speluncking into her ears, actually- so she trained me to come when she earwaggles. Man,I didn’t see that coming and lapped it up like a kitten to milk, which makes me think again about sevenbabykittensinOregon for some reason, hmmmmm.
Happy Day after Valentine’s Day, Peeps of all configurations!
Hey! That’s my my baby! OMG did I ever get a shock when I opened up the newsletter today, I was like… that’s Tux, and… OMG! *head asplode!*
AWW! What a sweet face and what a sweet gift from the dear sweet kitty.
My cat Dooley caught a LIVE mouse on top of the headboard of my bed and took it upstairs. Later I had to put a very DEAD mouse in a bag for garbage removal the next day.
No one believes it… but it is true… I couldn’t have done this myself…
I used to have a fluffy tux myself so I know about them being love-nests. This furball is simply gorgeous!
I just went to Heather’s Oregon baby kittehs- ooooooooh.
I love big floofy kitteh!!!
yeah my roommate’s dog did this.
but it was with heart shaped pee.
good times.
My goodness what a beautiful cat!
My Bootsie (male) almost looks identical!
He doesn’t quite have as much white under his chin.
He’s considered to be a Tuxedo cat because of his markings.
I named him Bootsie becasue of his two white tipped front paws, and his back paws go up higher with white in the back like little white boots.
He’s considered to be a Norwegian Forest Cat, (the breed) because he also has very soft curly hair over his entire chest and under belly.
He’s as sweet as pie, to both my husband and I!
I would post a pic here but I’m not quite sure how.
Aww a heart-shaped gift. My kitty Paxton looks just like Tux! (Click on my name for a picture) What a bunch of cuties!!
Hey Lydia. Tux may very well be a Norwegian Forest cat, because she is incredibly soft. She is also a “monkey paw” which means five toes on each paw. OMG Valerie Paxton sure does!
