Gardener wanna-be

by Meg on February 9, 2009

Listen here, Pup.

I know you wanna accomplish something besides looking like a raccoon-slash-teddy-bear…

5

But gardening? That takes more skills than you’ve got…

Now get that leaf out of your muzzlepowsche!

By the way, excellent eyeliner application Sarah B.!

I betcha that dog is yappy. I dislike little yappy dogs, even if they’re cute.

2 momof2kitties 02.09.09 at 9:53 pm

Is that?
Could it be?
It is!
It’s Amy Wineranian!

3 MeLikeyCuuute 02.09.09 at 9:56 pm

He reminds me of Fuzzmond Freud, the great founder of fuzzology and fuzziatry.

4 Kit 02.09.09 at 9:57 pm

POMY-PUP! They have such personality. My aunt’s dog is obsessed with closing doors. ALL doors must be closed, and if you won’t do it for her, she’ll do it herself.

This dog is determined to maintain your yard, and she’s got a lot of work ahead of her!

Pom’s adorable. Luckily, these pictures don’t come with yapping, for Estlin’s sake.

7 Gail (the first one) 02.09.09 at 10:14 pm

This is one focused little doggeh!

Speaking of pups, the Westminster Dog Show starts tonight!

8 eikoleigh 02.09.09 at 10:15 pm

cute

9 Boomer's Babysitter 02.09.09 at 10:21 pm

You’ve got to train them young to keep them from yapping/teach them to tend your yard.

I sure hope the puppeh’s name is “Cleopatra” because her eyeliner requires proper acknowledgement.

16 chicken1mama 02.09.09 at 10:25 pm

I agree, hip hip hooray the buttons are back. I was dog gone sad with them gone

17 chanpon 02.09.09 at 10:31 pm

His ears are just ASKING to be nibbled on.

18 Mel2 02.09.09 at 10:49 pm

Is that Nessie rising out of the Loch Ness mist behind le petit garden menace?

19 AuntieMame 02.09.09 at 10:59 pm

Aww, Mary beat me to the Cleopatra comment. :)

I hope puppeh doesn’t dig up any asps. We all know how *that* ended.

20 Martha in Washington 02.09.09 at 11:04 pm

Awww…let the leaf stay in his little muzzlepowsche! The green accents his nosicle perfectly!

I strongly dislike yappy dogs too. I have a pair of them that live on the other side of my fence and all their owners do to stop it is yell at them (“Toby!) which makes the whole situation even worse.

22 Wombats 02.09.09 at 11:10 pm

Now this ees the kind of gardener I need. What’s his hourly rate??

23 TwistedSoul 02.09.09 at 11:11 pm

So cute! Makes me miss my pommy pup who is back home with my parents, a whole 1500 miles away! They certainly do have the most unique little personalities don’t they? Mine is obsessed with being picked up, but then wants down right away, and then back up, and back down and…you get the picture.

On a side note (since it was sort of mentioned)- ever since the BBC documentary I find I can’t watch dog shows. They just make me too sad.

24 emmemm 02.09.09 at 11:15 pm

Pup is cute, and determined… but really, where can I get a giraffe lawn ornament?

25 catloveschanel 02.09.09 at 11:44 pm

Mary Mary quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With tourquoise bells and puppy dog tails
And pretty giraffes all in a row.

26 Samantha 02.10.09 at 12:55 am

Pom noms palm!

(okay, it’s not a palm, but let me have my rhyme)

27 scooterpants 02.10.09 at 1:30 am

HELLA guard dog!
Poms rule ya know!

28 Annie J. 02.10.09 at 1:37 am

CO peeps, help! What is the meaning of “nuffer?” I don’t understand. Not cute enough? I thought nuffer had something to do with commentroversy peoples…

*confuzzled*

[http://www.squidgrid.com/cute/Glossary.htm#Nuff - Ed.]

29 Annie 02.10.09 at 1:43 am

HI Annie J from your counter part
A nuffer is some one who makes comments about this is not cute enough this is not funny enough this is not enough enough
Or tells peeps who submitted a picture which depicts an anipal in some way that they deem appears to be dangerous to said anipal.

some peeps use it for other things just because

Like Bleen for anything and everything.

30 Northern Tigress 02.10.09 at 1:50 am

“Not cute enough” or “not good enough” is what a nuffer originally said.

Now, a Nuffer refers to anyone who makes mean, negative or outrageous comments. It could be anything from criticizing baby pictures to randomly accusing people of animal abuse.

31 auntyb 02.10.09 at 2:12 am

I would gladly add this little one to my herd of yappy ankle biters. All of my puppers are smaller than any of my 6 cats…

32 auntyb 02.10.09 at 2:14 am

Little dogs yap, cat’s smack ‘em in teh head. Cat’s keep order in my house.

33 Nik 02.10.09 at 2:23 am

Oh this is sooo much cuter than a garden gnome.

34 Biscuit Tin 02.10.09 at 2:41 am

I love this puppy-wup! Look at him, with the leef! I hope it’s not TOO improper to do this, but if you get a chance, here is an amazing Kitteh-and-Deer video, during which, if the 10 seconds from 1:50 to 2:00 do not make you a puddle of goo, then you have a heart of steel.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rooyt3ptNco

35 Cami 02.10.09 at 2:56 am

That youtube vid, Biscuit Tin, is from the movie Milo and Otis.

36 Biscuit Tin 02.10.09 at 3:53 am

@ Cami – Thanks for the info! I guess I’ll check out Milo and Otis. I always thought that was an animated movie. If it’s a deer-and-kitteh movie, I’m there!

37 Rosakala 02.10.09 at 5:16 am

Oh that first pic just killed me from the cute. Please, please, please put that photo in next years calander. (I’m loving this years so much. My cubical is already decorated with the past days pics all over it.)

38 SeaFoodpunch 02.10.09 at 6:17 am

I wouldnt want to mess with that little guy on a bad day. what a cute puff ball. I wannit

39 Hon Glad 02.10.09 at 7:30 am

Who does the pups eye makeup?

40 Raemie L. 02.10.09 at 9:05 am

*sigh* Vereh cute…

@Biscuit Tin – Loved the link. I must watch “Milo and Otis” again sometime!

41 MaggieBee 02.10.09 at 9:52 am

Biscuit Tin: Milo and Otis is actually a PUG and kitten movie… :D

But, I also want to know where to get a giraffe lawn ornament… I’d keep him in my living room. :D

42 Michelle S. 02.10.09 at 11:18 am

Lovin’ those Amy Winehouse eyes! XD

43 Katrina 02.10.09 at 11:55 am

Biscuit Tin- goooooooooo…that was wonderful!, Thanks! That goes to UCONN!

44 Katrina 02.10.09 at 11:56 am

The puppy is adorable, too.

45 Gail (the first one) 02.10.09 at 1:03 pm

Hi Katrina! Was watching the Dog Show last night and I was wondering what flavor Killer Corgi is????

46 noonie 02.10.09 at 1:59 pm

I need this dog. I NEED IT.

GIVE IT TO ME. GIVE IT TO ME NOW.

*steals dog, runs away, never looks back*

47 Blueheron 02.10.09 at 2:26 pm

Oooo, we need an enhance on this cute little muzzlepowsche! :)

48 Elisha B. 02.10.09 at 4:19 pm

CUTE!! Is this perhaps a Sheltie pup instead of a Pom pup? Looks alot like my Sheltie when he was little. He’s not so little now (rather round) but still cute!

I love fluff!!!

49 Kathy P 02.10.09 at 4:49 pm

Puppy probably has Keeshond in him/her –those “specs” are an indicator of the breed. BTW, Poms and Keesies are closely related. Baby Kees are just as cute :-> I have 3!!!

50 catloveschanel 02.10.09 at 4:51 pm

I’m super sure that dog practices being cute in the mirror.

Then huffs out to the garden, grabs a leaf, and shreiks, “this leaf should not be here! Too much green ruins the juxta-po-si-tion of my vision! it only proves sentimentality is not art! Rmmmmmmpph! ”

51 riolinda 02.10.09 at 6:27 pm

cute!!!!! i want this gardener for my nonexistant garden! :)

52 berthaservant 02.10.09 at 11:06 pm

I like the blue bells on the collar. (Oh, and the pup).

53 katinarkit 02.11.09 at 10:00 pm

Reminds me of something dumbfounding my very intelligent friend once said (inspired by my pom):

“Are pomeranians natural or did people create them?”

O_O

54 Katrina 02.12.09 at 1:19 pm

Hi, Gail (the first one), Killer Corgi is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, (the one with the buttons.) She is a red and white, only three of the Cardigans of the group were red and white- the rest were the darker color combinations.

Killer has a beautiful, long, wonderfully-full tail. It is her tail and the tail of all Cardigans that differentiates them from he Pembrokes. The Queen of England has 16 Pembrokes. I don’t know of anyone who has 16 Cardigans-the mind boggles at the very thought! If you refer to your Welsh Corgi calendar (what, you don’t have one?) Killer looks very much like every red and white Cardigan what makes her stand out from the crowd is that she’s mine! Thanks for asking, and she sends you her very best, (which is quite wonderful!)

55 Coolgirl16 03.07.09 at 3:41 pm
