First, I don’t think inspector puppy is meant to be unkind–just concerned about too moishe
expo-sh. The most perfect body can look laughable to some with over-expo-sh…
Second, the elderly lady in the pix is certainly not Donatella, who is only
53. You know, sometimes advanced age loses judgement or realistic view, and we need to treat that person with understanding–even though it is sad.
Third, our culture has, I think, gone overboard about perfection and exposure. I feel sorry for celebrities who are so concerned with physical perfection that they write
weight and measurement requirements into their
pre-nuptial agreements. Without genuine love and regard for one’s partner, the “beautiful people” become bored with one another, always seeking a new partner who measures up to those perfect standards.

matter less than endless hours of caring about each other, sharing laughs and
beliefs, missing one another when apart, helping each other work towards a goal.

A resounding “Ewwwwww” for *whoever* that is wearing that bikini! As a fat woman, I developed a phrase for myself (and others I see), “Just because they’ll SELL it to you doesn’t mean you should WEAR it!”
I think there should probably be age limits on bikinis, at least in public. Pretty much limited to under 30, unless you’ve been hired for the SI Swimsuit Issue!!!

Sandra, it’s not a matter of being pretty. It’s a matter of pretending to be 18 when you’re clearly not.
IF I may, are we discussing modesty? HMM? Well there are times when modesty is appropriate. Tiny little bikinis are generally for the young and the shapely, yes. But, as you can clearly see, this lady has been in the sun a lot, and perhaps she doesn’t realize what the sun has done to her skin. Seriously.
I’d love to hear what the concept of ‘modesty’ means to people! I think it is the realization that some styles of clothing are more appropriate than others for certain events or time, but the lady is at the beach, and it is probably her beach, so I guess this picture is out of my ‘jursdiction’!
