  1. I’m glad you reposted this! I almost left the copy I got as a gift for my sister! I’m leaving today! It would have been a horrible tragedy!

  2. berthaservant says:

    I think this is a re-post.

  3. *bffFFFT* LOL!
    (Smartass.)

  4. kibblenibble says:

My BFF gave me mine as my early Christmas gift. I actually SQUEEEED with delight.

  5. NOTE TO THOSE OBSERVANT PEEPS WHO MAY BE WONDERING:
The kitty-with-Christmas-tree-lights post that was on the front page, and now isn’t, will be back shortly. (I just corrected the datestamp.)

  6. I got mine yesterday at Kohl’s for $6.49!!!!!!!!!

  7. I have mine already and I am eagerly waiting to open it up.My best friend Margaret has one too.

  8. I got calendars at Kohl’s, too! One for me and one for a gift.

  9. I will certainly get one for myself, and I feel a bit sad about that.
    (Sitting down to make confession)
You see, dear QTE peeps, I am surrounded by people who are IMMUNE to the QTE. I seem to be a genetic anomaly in my family. There is not a “SQUEE!” in the rest of the bunch.
    (sigh)
I am hoping to indoctrinate my little niece and nephew, though. I think I can do it.

  10. milenkokonut says:

got mines on amazon.com! (one for me, one for my mom) got mine!!! got mine!! GOT MIIIIIIIINNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!! happy happy joy joy!!! :D

  11. I can’t wait to start using this calendar :D

  12. btw, good luck Theresa… it will be a hard battle, but if you can start with the youngins’ the old ones will follow too!

  13. AuntieMame says:

I have it on good authority (I was shopping with “Santa” and she told me) that I was NOT to buy one for myself…

  14. SixFootJen says:

I received my Qte calendar last night for early Christmas! Squeee, squeee, squEEEEEEEEE! SO HAPPEH.

  15. I got one for myself, and one for my cats’ vet – we both love it!

  16. Mine is ordered! The first thing I’m going to do is look up my birthday.

  17. Julia (the one in BC) says:

Aaugh! Husband. He is bewailing the fact that he hasn’t found anything to give me yet, since I’m so hopeless to buy things for. Never mind that I told him at least two weeks ago that (1) I’d like the Cute Overload calendar, (2) it’s available at a store within walking distance of our house, and (3) have I mentioned that the Cute Overload calendar is available? Within walking distance? Of our home?

Doh. Maybe I should just go buy it, wrap it, and put it under the tree myself. Double doh.

  18. I bought 2 of these eyeball delights.

One is for my bestest friend in the whole wide world, who I know will squeeee with delight.

The other is pour moi because I deserve adorable thing in my life. And yes, when it arrived in the mail I did go squeeeeeee! with delight.

    It is so squeeee-able!!

  19. There’s one wrapped and under our Christmas tree RIGHT NOW!! Squee! I think my fiance’s giving it to me. Or I’m giving it to him. We’re not really sure, we just knew we had to have one!!

  20. I was Barnes & Noble the other night and saw a display of desktop calendars. There was only one CO calendar in the display, as opposed to FOUR golf calendars.

I think that says a lot.

  21. I wanna get one just to I can look at Noodle. Aww

  22. totalee puppy says:

    CO calendar under the tree…SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!

  23. Ordered three. Used one for work’s gift exchange. I heard “awww” when it was revealed. ;)

  24. Whose hand is that?

  25. berthaservant says:

I gave one to my niece for her birthday last week — and one to another friend for HER birthday. Because I feel bad for the birthday-near-Xmas people.

And the third one is for my own damn self.

  26. yankeebird says:

Ooh, thanks for the tip about Kohl’s, Erika. I never would have thought to look there, and there’s one just a couple miles from my house. I’m nearly broke and had resigned myself to waiting until after New Year’s when they got marked down (and missing days of Qte), but now I can get one tomorrow! Happy Holidays to me!

  27. I ordered THREE of them. One for me and two for giftses. I’m going to sent one more as a gift for New Years when I get paid on Friday. That’s four calendar purchases to help build Meg’s Cute Empire! Yay!

  28. @Laura, “Eyeball Delights” sounds like something you get as the guest of honor at some huge tribal feast on the steppes of Central Asia.

  29. I ordered it ^_^

  30. What, Eyeball Delight? ;P

  31. momof2kitties says:

My mommeh got me mine for my December birthday, and I am exercising Herculean effort not to look at every dang page.

  32. not Colette says:

I was happy to find the calendar at a bookstore, cause ordering online this time of year is a headache…and then I read these comments. Thanks to everyone for the Kohl’s tip! Not much of a Kohl’s shopper, and wouldn’t have thought to look there. I took back the first calendar and bought three at half price. One’s for my boy, one’s for my mommy, and one might be for me, unless my boy thinks his mommy would enjoy it. In any case, I plan to collect the pages as they are torn off and wallpaper my room with them!

(I’m posting with a fake name just in case my bf reads this…he already has suspicions about what his gifts might be…)

  33. Yay! Bought one for myself just now at Target. My whole family is clueless about teh cute.

  34. Attention in the Bay Area: Thees calender ees avail @ Kohl’s now for 6.49. I just purchased one and eet is sitting on my desk now.

    Ready for a SnorgleChristmas!!

  35. totalee puppy says:

    Eyeball Candy?

  36. I wuvz mah seestah…her buyed me one fur mah birfday!!

  37. yankeebird says:

Yay for Kohl’s! Bought three CO calendars last night.

  38. I got mine at Barnes and Noble and I was so excited I couldn’t stand it! I hope you do one every year Meg!

  39. I just got one for my birfday! I too squeed wif deelite!

  40. I ordered three a while back. I am very saddened to report, though, that I saw many copies of the calendar at my local 99 cents only store last night. Boooooooo!!! :-(
Here’s hoping that Meg and everyone associated with the calendar’s production still did OK financially so that we can get more in the future.

  41. And for those naive people who really think they still have time to order one online… you don’t. It’s 3 days til Christmas you sillys! Fortunately for those (of us) who procrastinate every single year and wail til the last minute to do the Christmas shopping, there are fine establishments that carry said calendar. And apparently there are some at Kohl’s and a certain 99cent store, too… although… just a warning to those who might be enjoying the deep discounts at those semi-fine establishments, you better check the Certificate of Realness… cuz, you know, they might be one of those fake knock-offs from China. I’ve heard the calendar has been so popular that it’s hit the black market! No… really! For reals!

Ok, maybe not. Go ahead… enjoy your deep discount! Fooyey on you! (I’m going shopping now… at Kohls.)

  42. Julia (the one in BC) says:

Further to the saga. This morning, hubby went to store and *could not find the calendar*. Manager not only claimed they did not have it, but had NEVAIR had it in stock. Bleah. Apologetic hubby gave me the news via phone.

Therefore, when lunch hour rolled around, I went to the store, found the calendar exactly where I’d seen it last time, and bought it. (At full price incidentally. Adorabuhl stuff never seems to get discounted in Canada… mutter mutter.)

So, Megan? You may have to add several shades of neon lettering to the packaging – apparently, super-sweet bun on the box didn’t do the trick! (Or maybe try some ACTUAL neon! ;-)

  43. “not Colette”… Hahahahahahahahha! Good one! He’ll never notice.

BC Julia: sometimes it takes a brick to the head for some people to wake up to the obvious. Sorry you had to go out and buy it yourself. Sheesh! Men. (Shaking head in disgust.)

By the way, I’m curious. If Canada had 99cent stores, would it have to be a 1.20cent store? Just wondering.

  44. BC Julia — I also live in BC, and have pretty much given up all hopes of trying to find it…

Back in October I not only bought a calendar for myself, but one for my hubby who religiously looks at this site every day with me :)

He’s already got it ready to go on his desk at work in the new year!

    Squee! :D

  45. totalee puppy says:

    A song for Noodle:
    “I bless the day I found you…
Don’t let my squeals astound you…
    Calendar birdie…
    You’re the one for me.”

  46. totalee puppy says:

Mom must have been hitting those sweets before I was
    born…miss you so much.

  47. I just opened a Christmas Eve gift and guess what it was?! EEEEEE! I was so excited! My mom picked it up before I even said I wanted it…she knows me all too well XD

  48. To be perfectly honest, though, I don’t think Christmas delivery is still a viable option. ;)

  49. Julia (the one in BC) says:

P.S. The coolest thing is that when Christmas morning rolled around, I *completely forgot* that I’d bought the Cute Overload calendar that my hubby “gave” to me, and was genuinely surprised and delighted when I opened it up. Yay faulty memory circuits!!!

  50. Christine says:

I just went to the 99cent only store today and found a bunch of Cuteoverload calendars! :)
