The Bannana Splits were THE BEST ever! Totally cracked-out, 1970′s perfect drug-induced child-scaring goodness.
They still run old episodes on the Boomerang channel, super late-night. Great for laughs, as it’s just SOO 70′s.

I personally loved Adventure Island, with super-young and super cute Jan-Michael Vincent. Hubba-hubba! The 2 Muskateers cartoon was a hoot, as well.

@Boomer’s Babysitter: Hanna-Barbera did release an album of music used on “The Banana Splits.” Much of it was re-released in 1995 on an limited-edition album titled “We’re the Banana Splits/Here Come the Beagles.”
