Wonder if those are Turkish angora. They’re byooootiful. (Brown leather couch, less so.) Good massage skills, too. My bebeh white Toorkeesh angora has them too (she even knows to keep those sharp claws sheathed), so maybe it’s in the genes ! She practices on humans and felines alike, and geeves keesses too !

Wow, between the Hoovering and the kneading, Norwegian Forest cats must be the most laid-back kittehs in the world! In my house, tummy kneading would degenerate to head-kicking in no time, and even just pulling out the vacuum cleaner makes kittehs disapear.
Eww, the *last* thing I want when I’ve overeaten is a tummy massage. Barf city! These kittehs are hilarious!

The kitty’s name is “Vinski,” which I think is extremely cool. I wonder if that’s a germanic or scandanavian version of “Winston”? I certainly enjoyed watching Vinski “get hoovered” like I enjoy watching Winston… do anything, really. I agree “Vinski Getting Hoovered” should be posted.

I worked at a mouse infested library and tried for six months to persuade them to get a library cat, but to no avail. So now my goal in life is to become a library director so that I can be the decision maker…and be surrounded by books and cats.

Thanks for the suggestion Totalee, Monty was in the running. The name was finalized when I realized that as I went to pick it up off the floor for my lesson, I said “OK, here we go Michael Anne”…and the name has stuck. I almost played “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” I’ll tell you when I do! Two strings, five positions- hey, I am so excited! S-T-R-E-T-C-H those fingers!
