Me too! Not chewing my toes, though. Sticking with pretzels.

2 CoffeeCup 11.05.08 at 2:20 am

I know, kitty. Me too. Me too.

3 warrior rabbit 11.05.08 at 2:20 am

A case of election fraud — clearly too young to vote!

4 Lisa 11.05.08 at 2:20 am

No worries, little kitteh. Obama has it all sewn up1

5 Theo 11.05.08 at 2:22 am

Lisa — so, Barack Obama = Betsy Ross?

9 Jen 11.05.08 at 2:41 am

Um, well, I’ve skipped the nomming and gone straight to drinking. Glug glug glug.

Don’t you worry, little angel!!! Obama loves all creatures great and small.

This is my favorite picture-comment combo ever! Meg, you are the best and I love you. And I am not drunk at all. Just feel very loving watching Obama win.

~PRRRRT~
Sorry! Nervous gas.

17 m_peacock 11.05.08 at 3:30 am

This is very embarrassing, I’ve just posted my comment twice thinking that the first time it didn’t go through, sorry guys, I guess I am a little bit drunk… But the nomming-nonblinking kitty is still priceless and Obama is still winning. Life is good.

18 holligans 11.05.08 at 3:35 am

No worries kitty, everything’s gone so well I had to pinch myself to see if I’m not dreaming. Sweet dreams, you’ll wake up to a much better world tomorrow.

20 AuntieMame 11.05.08 at 3:53 am

Don’t worry, kitteh. Contrary to popular belief, the future of the world is NOT riding on this election. It will be okay, no matter who wins.

21 T.U.M. 11.05.08 at 4:13 am

You little feeteater!

22 fish eye no miko 11.05.08 at 4:25 am

24 Kar 11.05.08 at 8:21 am

Yell me about it.

It’s like watching NASCAR, but this actually matters.

25 Kris 11.05.08 at 2:34 pm

What a cute kitty! His eyes definitely display the fear and anticipation we all felt last night!!!

26 Noelegy 11.05.08 at 2:44 pm

Aww, so cute! I voted last night and then came home wanting to watch election coverage, but my husband declared a media moratorium in our household, saying we’d find out in the morning anyway. :)

27 Jenn in IL 11.05.08 at 3:29 pm

His eyes are still baby kitten blue!! Awwwww…

*Falls to zee floor*

Don’t worry little one, Obama loves you!

28 Yitzysmommie 11.05.08 at 4:53 pm

This little kitteh looks like the staff and patients at my job in the psych hospital last night while we waited for the results to come in. We had several patients hanging out in the dayroom with us eagerly watching the election results. And my desperately ill psych patients cheered along with the staff when Obama won!

29 Paunchie 11.05.08 at 5:31 pm

Hooray for those patients then! What an unbelievably happy day! I also got a little bit drunk m peacock!

30 SarahR 11.05.08 at 5:53 pm

Zorbit is a great word, thnx FENM!

31 Hooli 11.05.08 at 6:45 pm

Oh my word that was SO me yesterday. Only not as cute. And also probably more drunk. But you know, close enough.

32 jmuhj 11.05.08 at 7:12 pm

Never fear, tiny kit. The world is a much kinder, safer place from now on. Just watch and see.

33 Janet 11.05.08 at 7:51 pm

Yeah. A much better place indeed, if you enjoy Socialism.

34 CG 11.05.08 at 8:38 pm

yeah socialism. Spread the squee!

35 Elisha B. 11.05.08 at 8:44 pm

Oh man! I was just like this last night after voting!! I have voted many times before but I came out of the booth feeling like I had just taken a final exam and flunked!!

I don’t ever want to feel that way again….but this fluffy cutie makes it feel allllll betterrrrr!!!

Notice how no McCain supporters dare to comment politically on this site? Or maybe this is just a democratic site. Yay!

[Um, regardless of the personal politics of the folks behind the CO banner, I don't think it's *this site* so much as a lot of McCain supporters are kinda feeling the landslide defeat right now. They *are* here, and y'know, maybe it's a good idea not to act insulting toward them. - Ed.]

37 Sunstorm 11.05.08 at 9:49 pm

And kitteh, don’t worry. Obama’s got it all locked up! :D

38 Kimski 11.05.08 at 11:14 pm

I was nom nom nomming too. Getting out of bed and checking the news …. (in Australia)… Happy now.

39 Redbone 11.06.08 at 12:20 am

Not featured: the nasty, sloppy pphbhhbhbbbhth sound being made.

Gobama!

40 AuntieMame 11.06.08 at 2:47 am

I voted for McCain and I’m still posting here. I just choose not to be obnoxious about it. The election is over, and it’s time for everyone to get behind our new President-elect. The country doesn’t need sore losers OR sore winners.

41 totalee puppy 11.06.08 at 3:15 am

Congratulations and God bless you, President-Elect
Obama! You mean so much to
so many.

42 Carley 11.07.08 at 2:14 am

I want this little guy. He’s adorable. Not sure my two male cats would be enthused about another brother though :)
